whats your training split look like?? what do you think is overtraining??

A while back I used to do high volume, pretty high frequency. I did this because I loved lifting weights and I loved working in that weight room.

Then I went totally the other way and the results were DRASTICALLY different. Felt like a fucking fool for training the way I did.

Now I let each worked muscle group rest for 4 days at least before I work it again. I do 9-11 sets a workout, 4-8 rep range.

So a chest/tri day example for me would be:

3 sets incline chest press
3 sets weighted dips on the captain's chair
3 sets skullcrushers

Now every time I work out I feel a little stronger than the last time. Which is the way it should be.
 
3-5 sets per bodypart, each bodypart trained 3 times a week, reps are 5-15. No, I'm not overtrained.
 
I consider my split moderate volume - 8-12 working sets per bodypart, each trained twice over a seven day period. I make sure to get at least 8 hours sleep per night and my diet is always on point to help avoid overtraining, as it could happen fairly easily at this workout frequency/volume.
 
I don't think there is such a thing as overtraining as long as your nutrition and rest is up to par with your training..

biceps forearms back width back thickness.
legs.

I avoid overtraining by listening to my body, as soon as I feel its time , I cruise for ten days and come back ready for another blast.
