ok, i hate trying to mix them, trying to drink them, squeeze the shitty tasting crap down after a workout and ruining my next meal because it just upset my stomach.....

another thing is in past ive been anti supplements. too expensive for almost unnoticeable results...

well, hats off to trueprotein..that cold filtered isolate mixes perfectly without much effort, taste fine(choc coconut) and god damn best of all for me is, i was able to get hungry immediately and take down a real full meal right after drinking it....results i dont know yet as i just got the stuff but i will post how i like results soon too...

yeah bro i have been loving that choc coconut

Im a new TP customer as well. No bloat, no gas... Love the stuff(Whey Iso). Wish I would have tried TP brand sooner. I went w/ the sample pack first time. Problem is... they are all good tasting.

I'm with you. I've had some just undrinkable whey. It's just sludge. Hard to choke down and then I'm full forever afterward. So you end up just not taking it. Been doing muscle milk for a while when I find a deal on it and it's much better than other weight gainer type shakes I've tried where you need to make a whole blender full and it's still the consistency of honey.

My true protein order comes in tomorrow. Can't wait!!!

I agree with you 100% ... The iso cold filtered is the BEST i've ever had- really ...[Try the vanilla its pretty good as well .../B]

yeah, i go for the vanilla next...that is actually my favorite flavor but sometimes in whey form some places dont make it taste right for vanilla...sounds promissing for tps though

True Protein = Top Quality

Yep, I agree that True Protein is good stuff. The whey mixes instantly and tastes OK w/o any flavor additives. All I do with mine is add one little scoop of sugar free Nestle's Quik chocolate flavor sometimes, if I'm drinking my protein with a meal and not just gulping it down. I've also found that just a Tbsp of artificial sweetener makes it very drinkable too.

I mix 25 g of egg white protein, 25 g of whey protein, about 10 g of nonfat milk protein in a 16 oz glass 3-4 times a day.

My first TP order I went with the Ultra-Filtration. Bad idea. It was super clumpy and I wasted a ton of protein on the clumps that just got stuck to my shaker cup filter + all around inside the cup. Then Dante said for best mixability it's Cold-Filtration all the way.

So I ordered some Cold-Filtrated Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, Creamy Peanut Butter, and French Vanilla.

The mixability is SOOO much better than the Ultra-Filtration. It's like night and day. I'm absolutely loving how smooth these shakes are. And absolutely 0 wasted protein in the cup. Perfect.

As for the flavors, out of these three I like the vanilla the best. The peanut butter ones are kind of meh. I mix all of my protein powders in skim milk and the peanut butter flavors just don't taste like peanut butter to me. I can't really explain what they taste like to be honest. But they're good enough to drink happily.

I mixed in some vanilla LBA's with my French Vanilla shakes and it's pretty damn good! Next order I'm gonna stick with the Dutch Choc Fudge though and also give the Chocolate Coconut a whirl.

the dutch choco is my favorite.

i stay with any major brand. divide grams into dollars.whalla

i would pay extra money for this over the major brands...all of them ive tried so far lock my stomach up for few hours with whatever bs is left in the powder etc...

I have yet to see a major brand with equal or better prices that also has the mixability of TP's cold-filtrated.

The only protein powder I've ever tried that mixed 100% perfectly was Designer Whey's Protein Blitz. It's crazy expensive though. But man that shit went down like chocolate milk when it was done mixing. You would NEVER know it was a protein drink unless I told you. And it tasted dead like ovaltine.

Optimum Nutrition has pretty good prices. Like 35 bucks for a 5 pound tub. But that shit doesn't mix perfectly IMO. Close, but not there. There's still clumps stuck to the cup/glass, and I don't like the taste.

And continue to do so because there is a good chance your buying thru me either way.
(Who do you think makes the 'major brands' supplements for them?)
A contract manufacturer does... which is mainly what I am and do.
I make retail lines for a great many of the companys out there.....and I also sell raw ingredients to the public.
I really dont care if you buy from me or thru me from another company one way or the other. Either way I appreciate your business.
I cannot count how many times now Ive seen on (not this board but other boards) a protein/supplement thread where someone mentions TP and then someone chimes in with "I stick with "highly known" brand".......and we make the "highly known" brand for that company....LOL.....the best one yet Ive seen was a thread on MD on supplements where someone mentioned TP and a very well known sponsored bodybuilder of that company came in and said something to the effect of "Screw Trueprotein, get your protein/supplements here, this is where i get/use all my supplements"....

(again i said nothing but boy he would of felt really dumb if he knew that we make every single one of that company's supplements----I wish I could of thanked him for the plug)

Do the brand names you make have better or different flavorings than the bulk products you sell? That would be the only reason to go with a brand name. Too bad they don't want the public to know who does the manufacturing (understandable though).:D

Im going to tell people why doug and I made Trueprotein.

We got really irritated by the supplement industry with all the proprietary blends and hidden ingredients.

Let me show you...here is a very popular protein out there on the market

Ingredients
Protein Blend(Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Peptides), Cocoa(Processed With Alkali), Natural And Artificial Flavors, Lecithin, Creamer(Sunflower Oil, Maltodextrin, Modified Food Starch, Di-Potassium Phosphate, Tri-Calcium Phosphate, Tocopherols), Salt, Acesulfame Potassium, Aminogen®, Sucralose

What is that? Someone want to tell me? Is that 34% isolate, 33% concentrate and 33% peptides? What is the blend? Is it 99% isolate, .05% concentrate and .05% peptides? (Trust me it isnt, too expensive)........Ok i see Creamer in there with maltodextrin....how much of that is in there because now it could be

15% isolate, 15% concentrate, 15% peptides, 10% cocoa, 5% lecithin, 5% creamer/maltodextrin etc etc etc

See the problem here? What the heck are you buying exactly? What are you getting for your money?

So we made a company that lets you pick out the raw ingredients you want to use so you know exactly what you are getting and buying....and then i get you plain jugs or food grade bags with no expensive fancy labels or costly translucent jugs so you dont have to pay more than you should for them. And I dont take out multiple placement 5-6 page advertisements in major muscle magazines that cost 9000 to 12000 dollars per page every month so that gets tacked onto your price also.

So what do you end up paying for? "the actual raw ingredient you bought to help you in your bodybuilding endeavors" and not someones advertising bill.

From one supplement company owner to another, GREAT fucking post my man.

It depends....I make what the company wants me to make and have my flavor chemist team make the flavors they want if they desire some unique flavors.

I will say this....I have lost alot of respect for my fellow man in the supplement industry since Ive owned these businesses. Alot of people dont give a flying crap about putting a good product out there and will try to cut every corner ingredient wise for the sake of profit.

Doug and I have repeatedly given the "if you put out a A1 product even though its more expensive (and it will be), you will get a glowing reputation in this industry because it will work!" speech......the second half of that speech is "if you try to cut corners and put a crap product out there for the sake of ripping people off and lining your pockets with money....yea it will work for a short while with the people trying to save a buck, but you will ruin your reputation at one point and there is no coming back from that"

I've turned away every prohormone company who ever wanted me to make capsules for them (I have alot of pro football, baseball, and especially MMA fighters----lately its been like UFC fighter central in my offices) and I dont want to even touch the prohormone arena. Ive also turned away every company that would ask us to source "shite" raw ingredients like "offspec" whey concentrate that they wanted us to make retail products with. Sucks to say it but there have been alot of those kinds of people....and its disheatening to say the least.

You have to go to bed at night knowing you did your best toward your fellow man. When you get old and are close to the end of your living days, can you look back and say "hey I was a pretty good guy and I tried to do the right things"? Those things are important to me personally.....but Ive seen some very self absorbed, self involved, 'dont care who they step on to get rich and ahead of the game' people in this industry.....makes me cringe sometimes.
