Yea I have the silver and red 97's. You prob know what I am taking about. My hfav are the 95's, have about 7 pairs of those, some were pretty expensive.

Asics gels are by far the most comfortable shoes for training if you have wide feet and do alot of deads and squats. Not always the coolest looking, but by far the most comfortable in my opinion.

When it comes to a training shoe, I've found the adidas "Goodyear" shoes to be the best for me. Flat sole and very form fitting.

same here. especially on leg day...feels like being barefoot, but with more security & protection. very stable.

I had the goodyear as well but then I gave it to my brother inlaw. Its got no cushioning and you cant do and you cant do no cv work with it, even walking seems uncomfortable, but if you like the bare foot feeling than thats different.

Dont have a pic of all my shoes, I am working on it as I plan to sell some. Here are my boxes. I collect mainly Nike Dunks SB, Air Maxes, some Jordans, and rare and retro air maxes. Ill PM you in a little about some places I buy from bro. Gotta run to the grocery store.

Asian, I really like the Air Max 360 One Time series. They are the tops of old air maxes with the 360 soles, really look sharp. Ijust got 2 of the Air Max 97 360's. The silver/red ones like the regular 97's I have and another crazy colored pair you would probably like. Check them out.

Yo BBA, finishline has some cheap (at least compared to their normal prices) air max 97's and air max tailwinds, as well as a lot of air max 90's on sale (my new current fav).

As far as training shoes go Wolf. I am a major shoe collector myself, and of all the shoes I have worn for lifting, I would say any kind of basketball shoe is a good choice, but my favorites have been nike free trainers. I like the close to the floor feeling they give, almost like youre in socks. Except Im not a huge fan of them for squatting, but for everything else, I'd recommend them.

Hey Grumpy, where do you pick up those shoes? I love that idea of retro tops and 360 bottoms. Ive seen at a mall some air max 90's with the 360 bottom, but ive never seen those 97's.

Get a lot if ebay, but you gotta be careful for fakes there. If they are too cheao theyre fake. Also pickyourshoes.com is good as is Social Study. They have some cool shirts. Check out socialstudysneakers.com. I need to get that Lawrence Taylor shirt.

ya that socialstudy site is great. I would love to shop at that store. We have one like it here in sacramento. great stuff. Great collection btw grumpy. I ain't quite there yet, but I will be sometime. I was a major jordan guy for a while, but ive been pulled off track by the air max 90s lately, and just air max's in general. Its a little nicer on my pocket book to say the least.
