Keep in mind that the average male can have a weight fluctuation of 5-6 lbs a day. If you see a daily change it could be as simple as a cup of rice that you didn’t eat today that you did yesterday. It not so much about the “what” as the “why”. The lack of rice itself won’t cause the fluctuation but the fact that carbs have a tendency to cause fluid retention will. Stick to your current diet for a week or two and then look at changes in weight. Unless I show a marked in/decrease of 3-5 lbs consistently on the scale I consider it fluid fluctuations.
