Agree!! Pregnenolone, DHEA, etc
Thank you, seen quite a few recommendation for this and with a phone consult also recommended so will give it a shot.

This is common in AAS users. The cure for me in the past has been to come completely off. It takes months and months to normalize but did eventually. I came off for 3 years at one point and near 10 years another time. Both times my libido and erections returned to normal after many months. It took over a year both times to completely get back to normal. Much better after 6 mo and improving over the next 12. People in this shit show of a life style wish and hope for a magic pill. Most of the times there is no magic pill. In fact, there may be no cure at all. Depends if your endocrine system can recover to normal or not. I started AAS when I was 27 so my limbic system and HPTA was fully developed. In those cases return to normal is more probable. From the 70s and 80s most of the guys I know that had that pattern returned to normal once the steroids were dropped. Most of the ones that started early didn't recover. That's the reality.
Thank you, how much would you recommend/whats worked for you?
Healthy nuts doesn't do anything for sexual desire/libido?HCG doesn’t do jack shit that testosterone doesn’t do for libido, sorry to break it to you guys..
Wow manI appreciate anyone feedback, as mentioned earlier I've seen quite a few doctors including:
1) 2 of the supposedly best endo's in Canada(and many more across the years). They don't seem to have any experience when it comes to this sort of thing although one has refereed me now to a doctor that specializes in neurotransmitter issues so will be interesting to see what comes of that.
2) Phone consults with Dr. Nichols - interesting and I'll most likely fly down to the states in the next month or two for full bloodwork and consult in person.
3) Numerous scans including CT scan to rule out tumor etc, full body scan and ultrasounds to make sure everything is ok(liver)
4) Have seen shrinks but they just want to push anti depressants which I don't think will help anything.
I realize its a long shot posting on here but figured some people have run into similar issues and I've already had a lot of great feedback and things I can try that I didn't think of before which I'm grateful for.
No I've never taken any anxiety or anti depressants. While I do have some anxiety at times it's not that bad and I know SSRI's are notorious for killing sex drive so I've stayed away from them.
One thing you could try if there really is a dopamine-problem is a dopamine-reuptake-inhibitor called Bupropion (brand name Wellbutrin). The added bonus is that it's been called 'the sex pill' because it makes people so horny and because it makes cumming feel better. (and it's all true, I've been on it in the past)
But it IS an antidepressant.
Pretty sure my wife took that for about 1 week and had to stop. Made her feel like a "zombie" is what she said. She said it was terrible for her. She went to Prozac and never looked back. Prozac though kills the sex drive. Wellbutrin may be worth a look, but beware there could be significant sides.
Yeah, like suicide...just had a really good friend kill himself 3 weeks ago, shot himself, and was using chantix to quit smoking. Left his wife and two kids behind. Pretty sure wellbutrin is also prescribed for that and comes with same fda warnings.

Start with 250iu EOD and if you need to increase the dose slowly work your way up to a maximum of 500iu EOD.
Where do people get HCG nowadays? I've never used it in my life

Yeah, id say if youre having trouble with no sexual desire then stay away from those. If you are suffering some depression or anxiety then maybe there is a drug out there that can help you and not significantly affect your libido. I don't know.
You've seen psychologists, have you seen a psychiatrist? Maybe they can help. Seeing that doctor that specializes in neurotransmitters like dopamine sounds like your best bet. Please report back when after you see that doctor. I think there are more guys here than we could ever know that are in your situation.
I just finished reading the new issue of Life Extension and found this article interesting because this product is supposed to increase desire. Could be worth a shot. I just ordered it myself to see. Says it takes about a month for it to work though.

if you have had blood work done probably those were measured but if on perma test those can get hammered, which is why some use hcg or clo or nolva/clomid....
