I was just curious as to why many boards say to start off with 500mg of test for 10-12 weeks since in anabolics editions (especially 2006) it gives example cycles that are very low such as test enanthate at 250mg a week stacked with eq at 250mg a week for a total of 10 weeks. I know the author's main concern in on safety; however, he insisted with the right nutrition, attitude, and training a newbie would produce dramatic results on the cycles listed.
I know one of my former trainers who only took 20mg of dianabol(maybe 25 i can't remember exactly but it was very low) along with 250 mg of deca for 8 weeks and went from 160-205 and dropped down to 185 lean after the cycle without pct (since pct didn't exist during his time). He is also short at around 5'6 and could squat and dead over 315 for 10-12 reps 3-4 sets before juicing too.
Also, didn't mick hart put his son on low dosages of sustanon and deca at 250 a piece for 8 weeks and he put on around 35-40 pounds that he kept in two cycles...
So I was interested in hearing guys thoughts on how much is actually needed to grow safely for a "recreational bodybuiler" and shouldn't 8 weeks be the max for a cycle if using over 500mg of test or using dianabol since the amound of stress being put on the organs and also in the long run too.
I just find this interesting since I see guys who can put on 20+ pounds on just 250mg of test a week for 8 weeks for a first cycle as compared to many guys putting only 15-20 at 500mg and then losing alot after pct... Is training and nutrition lacking ?
Given the guys using low dosages I know are financially blessed where they don't have to work currently and eat and go to the gym all day with their trainers.
