anyone ever heard of someone being alergic to milk protein (whey) and casein? Doctor's are telling my sister her 2 year son is alergic to them. I have never heard of this
Yes , those allergies are common especialy among children. Casein is about 80% of the milk and is the most allergenic where the whey counts for the 20% left. If the kid is allergic he has to eat just non milk products.
We changed our 20 month old boy to goat's milk about 6 months ago. He always had a runny nose and ear infection on the cow's milk, it was like medicine when we switched. Within a few days his nose dried up and ears are much better now too. I'm the same as him; not really allergic to milk but it makes my sinuses clog up with mucus. We pay $16 for a gallon, a lot but not too much for the little man.
