OK sometimes when I work out I like to do superset type stuff (set after set)as long as I can with no rest until I can't breathe. When I stop to breath my heartbeats so hard and fast that it feels like it is going to beat right outta my chest. I like how that feels but wonder if the overexertion is bad for me, or strengthening my heart and lungs. People at the gym sometimes look at me funny because I am sort of hunched over, hanging on to the bench and breathing like a locomotive for a few minutes, I think sometimes they wonder if I am going to pass out. Anyone else do this regularly? Anyone know if doing this while "on" can thicken the heart wall too much and /or enlarge the heart too much?
