I was just thinking about b-boy wisdom and his efforts to start some great threads which focus on more than just drugs when this idea popped into my head.
It's that time of year again when the new members begin to pop up with questions about how much T3/Clen/DNP/GH/Oral Only Cycles the need in order to get.... wait for it... "cut up for the summer." Funny how they never seem to ask for diet tips, as if they have that part figured out but somehow can't see abs in the mirror.
I have read through enough of those posts to know that they don't want to hear the obvious answer that diet must come first. Well, anyways I figured it couldn't hurt to start a thread and get some of the experienced guys to chime in on what tips and tricks they use to stick to their diets.
Some of the things which are obvious (and also hardest to stick to) is that people need eat WHOLE FOODS instead of processed high sugar crap. I personally tend to benefit from high protein, low fat, moderate carb. This works for me and helps me to stay lean and fairly full, but I know that people are different in how they respond to marconutrient combos. However people are busy and sometimes making meals in advance can be tricky.
So here is what I really want to know...... when you guys diet how do make yourselves cut those extra calories or better yet when you get cravings how do you bury those desires?
Personally here are some things I have tried to varying degrees of success.
1) Keep a log of all the calories you are taking in, once you hit your mark for the day you just stop plain and simple. For me this was the way to go, but you really need to stick to it and that can be tough if you are just grabbing something on the go.
2) Sheer willpower. This is always a tough one and given that my girlfriend's family owns a Maggie Moo ice cream store it can turn into an exercise in futility
3) Black Coffee, Cigarettes, and Chewing Gum (a.k.a. the Kate Moss diet) I smoked my freshman year of college (i know, i know, but I quit pretty easily see #2 above) and I wouldn't advise anyone try it.
4) Different diet supplements, some over the counter, some not. None of them ever really did the trick. If anyone knows of something that really works and isn't an amphetamine I would be curious to hear about this.
So what tips does everyone have to contribute? Maybe if we get a good thread going we can avoid some of those unbearable posts that arise when summer is on the horizon.
