What protein powder do all of you use before bed? I use a whey isolate during the day. Thinking of getting a casein for before bed. I like the quality of the whey isolate but want something that digests slower? Just not sure about the caisen because of it being a milk based protein. Any suggestions???
 
I used all slow digesting protiens ranging from micellar, calcium casinate, and milk protien iso. They all have about the same effect for me. I now use mpi only because its 2/3 the price of the others and I get the same results.
 
Calcium casinate I think is the best for night time because it is a good slow digesting protein.

use your isolate and EEOV to it. The EEOV or Flax will slow digestion down..
 
I just picked up some dymatize Elite 12hr time released whey/protien blend. Fudge brownie flavor. Not bad tasting. Very very messy though, powder goes everywhere kinda like waxy maize. It was onsale for $30 which sounded good at the time but one scoop is 21g protien and their are 60servings, so really that kinda sucks :(

EVO PRO by cytosport is good, pretty much all micellar caseins

and to whomever said to just use whey isolate with flax or EVOO, u can do the same with a slower protein for an even slower release rate

cottage cheese is great snack before bed.
 
I just started doing the following in my NEW Magig Bullet:

2-3 scoops of TrueProtein Premium Dutch Chocolate Whey Isolate
1/2 to 1 cup of Nonfat Cottage Cheese
1-2 tablespoons of Almond butter or peanut butter (Natural)
Ice
Water

DRINK!

Low fat cottage cheese is 80% casein and 20% whey. It is cheaper than most powders and just as effective at night.
