i have been looking back over BBB for a while now and the logic seems fairly sound.

my question is this.

following the 3 weeks ramping up how do you schedule your 3 weeks supergrowth phase.

i.e. i know the book shows the rep/set ranges and rest periods but what about the actual weight lifted??

are you still supposed to be using enough weight to hit virtual failure at the rep ranges or are you dropping the weight.

i know several guys on here have done the routine and think it could give me a quick boost of growth.
 
The overall quality of the set should stay the same or better. The supergrowth phase is when you really ought to be pushing yourself in terms of making each set as productive as possible. Don't lighten up the poundages and try to take the easy road. Hit the workout hard and hit it heavy (relatively speaking) every day. Remember, don't pause during a set until you're 2-3 reps from set completion. Then rip the last 2-3 reps. Very important.
