Sounds like acidosis. Kidneys and lungs can't control your pH. Could be a lot of things, none of them good. Dehydration, kidneys can't handle the glucose, respiratory distress, acetic acid (from booze), etc.
Diet and spices, also. At one point, I was eating and taking a lot of garlic as a supplement to lower cholesterol. The sweat and oils from my skin would burn my eyes during workouts and over time, eat through my cotton t-shirt pits and boxer briefs. No odor really, just acidic. I'm guessing sulfuric acid from sulfur-based compounds in the garlic. Stopped the garlic, problem gone.
Wow, easing up on garlic decreased odor dramatically. My only conundrum now is, do the benefits of garlic outweigh how bad it makes me smell? Lol It can get bad, as in, 'wtf is that me?' when I get home from work
When I tried using DMSO the apocarthy sold me chlorophyll also, saying it lessened the odor. It definitely did not completely get rid of it, but it may have done something. There really isn't any solid evidence it helps BO, just anecdotal reports.
