Those with mobility issues, what do you feel contributed to them?

I ask because at 6' and 275lbs. I have almost none and I don't think I'm a genetic freak. I can drop into a full squat on command, get my arms behind me for back squats, shoulders feel great, etc. The only issue I have is I could no longer reach to wash my back once I hit 245lbs. and had to get a scrubber on a stick.

Certain muscles don't get turned on properly (probably more common) or certain muscles are underdeveloped and weak, so opposing muscles are allowed to shorten over time. Some common examples are weak/not firing glutes causing tight hamstrings, rotators and inner back muscles causing tight pecs, delts (plus internal rotation of the shoulders, etc), tight spinal erectors from psoas not firing or being weak, etc. Generally there are just a handful of issues that account for most people's issues.

Be thankful you are not a top notch Suma wrestler who has to have an apprentice wipe his ass.
Part of paying your dues I guess :(
