Burn fat WHILE YOU SLEEP!?!

I found this interesting article about how you can lose 3/4-1lb of fat per week just by sleeping a little less comfortable than normal. They used an estimate as far as BMR goes. If you KNOW your BMR you could just divide your BMR by 24 hours then subtract 20% to get the amount of calories you burn per hour while doing this. So TECHNICALLY you could burn more or less fat with this...but there's potential!

well when you do cardio its not the fat you burn while your do it like the article trys to make you believe. its actually speeding up your matabolism for a few hours resulting from the cardio that helps you loose weight.
 
So let me get this straight if I am cold and my body is heating itself I burn more calories brilliant thanks for the tip
 
that's is something I learned while poweerlifting and trying to keep my wight down.
I doubt it make a huge difference.

Until your body adjusts and starts ADDING fat to insulate you from the colder temp.

Haha..yeah that's the only issue. I guess the trick is to fall asleep quickly enough before you become too uncomfortable to do so. If you're one of those people who sleeps like a log and doesn't wake up at all...this is great. Otherwise, it may not be for you. Once I'm asleep...that's it. Nothing can wake me up but my clock radio or a loud phone ringing.
 
I'd rather sleep comfortably, thanks. How about I eat cold food and the body has to burn calories to heat it back up, or quit wearing my coat, maybe just cold showers from now on or turn the heat down on the house. I'll drive around with the windows rolled down, too. Sorry, got carried away.
