Europe is the same way - they break up the LHW class so 165 to 176 is light middleweight (which in the NPC is the standard middleweight) then 176 to 187 is "middleweight". 187 (85kg) to 198 (90kg) is light heavyweight.

Makes more sense than how the NPC does it, with LHW going all the way from 176 to 198.
