Cardio
Here's another one.
I'm lifting eod.
Should I be doing my cardio on lift day, or off day?
I was running ed 2mi. Backed it off to eod because I could feel my recovery time needed to be longer. (I was tired all the time!)

Me personally...
I do my cardio on my off days. It does seem to make my recovery speed up. And on the days that I train way too much, I give it an extra day to recover.
Thats just me, my recovery times seem to change with the freakin weather anymore! It may be in my head, who knows.

In general, I feel better when I do cardio on off days - HOWEVER, I have also done it in the mornings early and done regular routine in the afternoon/evening AND vice versa - 30-35 mins max, steady pace w/ variations but no heavy resistance, like the bikes most, never do it on leg days. This is model for steady-state - I would do a little less if doing very heavy/PL type trainign and more if cutting (tho have not done a cutting cycle so I would check with bros who have and see how much they do).

Cardio
I tend to do 25mins of cardio on lift days.
10mins before workout and 15 mins after workout.
On days that I dont do weights I will do 45 mins of cardio, usually all in one shot.
Seems to work well for me.

Thanks guys
What a wealth of info there is around here! I LOVE it!
By the way, since I backed off my running to eod and I run "strictly" on the balls of my feet(my heels NEVER hit the ground). My calves are growing and ripping more than I ever thought possible. I only run 2miles and slowly at that cuz I hate hate hate cardio! But I like what I see!
