Think he was under contract so had to come up with something, but Ninja's-what is he 6 years old.

i still find it hilarious sounds like something i would think of on the fly if i had to come up with a quick excuse

ex:

sorry im late for work on my way here there was a lady being mugged so i stopped my car chased down the mugger and held him until the authorities arrived they might give me a medal.

If he'd have just said he got mugged and pistol whipped, there would have been a few eyebrows raised at the coincidence of the timing, but thats it
But he had to add the ninjas and that he beat the shit out of them.
Think he going to be remembered more for that than anything.

Had an awesome physique though.

THose are some genetics. Lucky bastard.
He should have taken the Big O after Dorian.

There was also some drama about him having calf implants-think Shawn Ray accused him. Calves did seem to grow overnight though.

Heard he had a kidney transplant in 2003.

imo he had a small frame in which he packed on a lot of muscle to it...peoople like ronnie or dorian had larger frames to begin with..they were bigger guys naturally thats why they won out over him

that is what bodybuilding should be about- symmetry, nice lines, no bloat or distention.

it's a shame to see him now. makes you wonder just how much of his was indeed 'all drugs'.

Flex said after he stopped competing that he injected SOMETHING everyday. EVERYDAY!

As for the calves... he put the either oil or that esiclene(sp) in there. And on that note.. his training was obviously subpar. He went on genetics and oil more then hard work.

There's not an Olympia that I think he should have won. Not one. In 98' I was screaming and rooting for him, but when i went down to the stage after it was over and got a chance to see Ronnie up close.... there was NO WAY he was going to beat Ronnie.
