Just stuck a loaded 3cc 25g. 1" needle in my quad and aspirated.
Looked like a cloudy worm comming in the syrnge. I pulled it out and looked at it fer a bit. Now mind you, I have used this area of the quad for injects(upper outer-bout a hands length down from the hip bone)before. So I said what the hell, got a new syrnge and stuck it back in and started to draw. WOW Filled the 3cc body with milky white shit mixed with pink(blood). Must have an infection in that spot. Started antibiotics and will try to draw some more tomorrow. Their is no swelling, pain or lump at the site!! WHAT YA THINK?

i think u have an abcess, continue to drain it and stay on anti-biotics..

I have had the exact thing. More than likely it was a sterile abcess unless you had a lot of redness and swelling. Mine was never red or anything, I just aspirated like you.

I took about 20ccs out of mine the first night, about 10 the next day, and then about 3-4 on the third or fourth day. It was amazing what a little poking around did to find more infection. My leg looked like I was a hype with a line of needle marks... LOL...

It sounds a lot like what I had in BOTH biceps. No redness or soreness - but I probably removed 25 ml from each biceps - over many days. It freaked me out. Took 1 keflex 2X ED for 10 days. It was still there so I went to see an Orthopod. He didn't do anything but tell me to quit poking myself

After a couple of weeks I checked again and it turned to a very watery, pinkish-red liquid (drew up VERY EASY). I took a sample into the doc and they had me take it to the hospital lab for testing. It came back negative for bacteria or micro organisms.

Doc did tell me that he would have had me do double the dose of Keflex for at least 2 weeks.

Dman bro thats a shit load of stuff! I find this very odd. Absolutely no pain or swelling or redness. It did look thick, but it came up a 25g needle no problem. Guess I'll keep trying to drin it and stay on the antibiotic. Actaully it looks like you put hand lotion in a glass of water!!Maybe tomorrow I'll use one of the huge syrnge body's I have and see just how much shit come out!
Chime in bro's if ya got any advice! Been at this awhile and never had an infection without redness-swelling--pain and some increase heat at the site! Thanx guys--I'LL LET YA KNOW TOMORROW!~!!!!!!~~

Same thing here. I went to our local Feed Store that sells some over-counter vet supplies. Got like 10 or 15ml syringe bodies. I also switched to a 23 gauge pin for drawing this out as it comes out faster.

The doc I went to wasn't real "helpful." He told me to quit putting a needle in my arm. I read this to mean - leave it alone. You know when you get a burn and it "waters over" - they say it heals faster if you don't pop it. I wish the doc would have told me that if that was his concern.

If the infection is sterile Xcel, as yours was, and as mine was, you just risk getting it infected by poking it. If it were red and streaking, it already is infected and then you've got real problems.

BTW, I got mine from homebrew TNE.

I had that exact same thing happen to me once. I left it alone and it healed by itself. There was no redness or swelling or even pain. I quit shooting there for a while and it went away. I was thinking that having some antibiotics on hand at all times might be a good idea. What are the antibiotics one would use for an abcess in the event I ever had this problem? And is there a place i can get these without going to a doctor? Not a bad item for a source to make available.

If it is a "sterile" abcess, then wouldn't it be sensless to take antibiotics if there is no bacteria in the fluid?
Just a thought. Taking too many different antibiotics can make your body prone to have an "immunity" of sorts against the antibiotic. Not a good thing to do especially in other cases where you may really need them to combat a bacterial infection.

I wouldn't take antibiotics unless i abolutely had to. Its best to leave a sterile abscess alone but monitor it closely. Mine went away. I think it would be a good idea to have antibiotics on hand for my own use if one day I had a full blown infected abscess.

You're exactly correct bro! I just got scared from removing SO MUCH shit from my bi's. I probably didn't need to take it but the doc told me that's what he'd have prescribed to me only twice as much and longer - but then again, they are "pill pushers."

I agreee with Damage - good to have the anti-biotics on hand if you ever need them.

I believe that mine was caused by neither and I'm very cautious about cleanliness when I'm injecting.

Mine was probably caused by injecting WAY TOO MUCH shit into my biceps.

If you happen to inject too often into an area and/or it has a decent amount of scar tissue, the oil doesn't dissipate like it should. It has nothing to do with cleanliness. The TNE I used had to be injected ED and doing 2ccs ED leaves you looking for places to inject over the course of a few weeks...

The only reason you might take antis is to ward off any secondary infection that might result from your poking it.

I believe that I was using that site to much. The process was steril as I believe the gear is also. I'll use other places and spread it around and try to give each spot a week before using it again. Kinda just luck that I found it in the first place. But I am not going to draw any more shit from that site.

I think that is a really good idea. Give it a couple of months or so to dissipate the liquid and heal up properly.
There are so many different areas of the body that surprisingly easy to shoot into. Meaning the pain factor after the shot.
You may just have to get help to reach some of them. lol.
