There is no actual way of proving (even if he admitted to use) that it was indeed actual steroids he was using... What really is fucked, is that Canseco most likely is the guy that introduced the stuff to his teammates..hell he prolly pushed it. He has been in and out of jail for constantly failing his drug screens (he was on probation for getting caught with juice) and so then he was put on house arrest....What did he do next? He started soliciting himself: 2500.00 (I think that was the price) for one day of training with a slugging legend, and you got to "bullshit" with him...

Canseco missed being in the spotlight. Jose NEEDED major league baseball, the MLB did not need him. Now, he is turning his back on the game that gave him so much and the players he shared a brotherhood with. I spoke with a professional baseball player friend of mine and the I can say that nobody in the league is on Canseco's side. My friend explained it this way. If you could do something that would make you better at your job would you do it? Yes. Most of us would do whatever it takes to succeed in our chosen or given profession. I've posted numeous times on here about steroids some of the posts being ignorant b/c I'm just trying to learn more on the subject. However, baseball is my first love and seeing Canseco do this to the best game in the world (to me) is gut wrenching--it actually hurts. I have a feeling he is spewing a lot of slander in this book and he will need to use the dirty money he gets from it to pay his lawyers.
