This is gonna be my first run with slin and wanted feedback for how my diet looked.
Meal 1 7 oz chicken 1 large banana 2 pieces of ezekial bread
Meal 2 7 oz chicken 1.5 cups of brown rice 1 tbsp natty pb
Meal 3 7 oz chicken 1.5 cups of brown rice 1 tbsp natty pb
Meal 4 7 oz chicken 2 cups brown rice
Workout
Meal 5 PWO 2 scoops whey 50 grams waxy maize 25 grams dextrose 5 iu slin
meal 6 7 oz chicken 2 cups of rice
Meal 7 2 scoops casein 1 tbsp natty pb

any feedback wold be appreciated. I was planning on starting at 5 iu and as i move up move my pwo carbs up to 50 grams maize and 50 grams dex
 
When do you plan to eat meal 6? Cancel the peanut butter for meal 7. What type of slin? 100 carbs is too much for 5ius.
 
meal 6 is at most 1 hour from 5 most of the time 45 mins. I was gonna start at 75 grams carbs total for 5 iu and see how my blood sugar is and move up and adjust from there both in slin and carbs. Slin is humulin R. Was wondering about the pb in meal 7 as ive heard to avoid fats thanks.

Humalin R will stay in you system for 4-5 hours. I pefer Humalog, since it is in and out in 3 hours. There is more spike with humalog, though. As a rule of thumb 10ius per iu is plenty, but a glucose test is best to determine how much. You should avoid fats for the time the slin is in your system.
 
5'11 220lb 10%bf 24. Competed naturally when younger in natural organization and now have been taking steps to compete in untested comps. My body responds very well to high carbs and i have a very fast metabolism and stay lean all year round.

My concern was because i workout later in the day that i will go hypo right before bed or when asleep. Slin will be shot at 8 and i sleep at 1130.

That is why I prefer Humalog. I finish training at 6:30 and go to bed by 10pm. You might want to switch over.
 
AGREED i sure as hell would not be shooting humulin r at 8:30 and going to bed 3 hours later....actually i would not do that with any insulin regardless.

You need to switch to Humalog if you don't have more than three hours between shot and bed.

1 Your not going to go hypo at 220lbs in twenty minutes. LOL

2 Your diet looks good. I would add a little more healthy fats and eat oatmeal and a shake in the morning for meal.1 All chicken and rice=boring

3 Using insulin after your workout is more predictable(safer) at first. But as you get used to using it I would look into moving it to during the workout.

4 By posting your diet it shows me that you will have a blood count well into the 80's (unless your on a treadmill all day) which is a safe spot to start. Most people wouldn't go hypo from and 80 count if they ate nothing after 5iu's. They may show symptoms, but won't trully go hypo. Your plan is sound! Once your feeling safe I would walk the carb count down a little at a time. Somewhere between 7 and 9 carbs per iu.

Ask yourself this?
After reading posts from well informed trainers like Dante saying "the worst thing I ever done was insulin". Should I do it anyway? Have I already done all that I can do for size and maxed my growth potential with a sound diet and responsible AAS use? I think you don't have a good reason to be doing this. I would take the insulin money and higher a trainer that you communicate well with. This will maximize your growth way better than just trying shit to get big quick. But this is your choice to make.

Well now i feel stupid. thought my diet was good as its full of complex carbs lean meats, poly and mon fats and very few shakes. AS far as my diet goes i like to eat like this and im sorry if you would prefer jail food I guess i can move my days around so i can train mid day. Hows this look

Just curious what you dont like about his diet? Beside the fact that he is eating chicken every meal and not getting protein from other sources. Serious question, not trying to start a pissing contest. :cool:

I would add in olive oil for fats and drop the peanut butter. I would add in plenty of veggies. I would cut down on the rice some and add in veggies to replace the grams of carbs. Oh, and using Insulin isnt going to be a holy grail. In fact, I didnt get much at all off of it until I started using GH too. If I were you I would just forget about the insulin. If youre not careful and you go hypo, and I did that myself a few times, youlll end up pigging out and consume way too many calories. You think you have been hungry in your life? Just wait until you go hypo, youll be starved. I wasnt able to use just insulin correctly and ended up getting fatter because I was having to eat too much.

as far as diet.......i only see 1/5 the fats you should be taking
and brown rice is great, but NOT for a MAIN carb source
and pb is a poor choice for main fat source

Wrong, optimizing protien synthesis during recovery is the Holly Grail of building muscle. But the insulin does need something to run home. I would be drinking BCAA and GLUT during the training and then go to your plan.
