Dbol Only Cycle - No PCT

I been at this game for a while now, so I don't need any hate-mail for doing dbol only/no pct. I'm well aware of the risks I'm taking by doing no PCT. So heres the plan:

I'm going to be running Dbol at 50mg ED for 28 days. Taking in about 3000-4000 calories on the average day, but up to 5500 on others (I tend to overkill the pasta nights =] ). I've never run dbol, but I have done a lot of research on it. I want to run it by itself so I can see how well my own body does with it (as everybody is different). I'm going to run with absolutely no PTC so I can judge how much it supresses my own testosterone production, LH, etc.

What I expect of this cycle: It's more of a learning cycle for me. It's the unorthadox cycles that I usually fall in love with. Anyways, I'm hoping I react well to the Dbol and up my weight 5-10 pound (albeit water weight) in the first week. And by the end of the 4th week I hope to have added +25lbs. Is it possible? Don't see why not, anythings possible in this world. =] I expect to lose a lot of the gains (water) after cessation. I'm wondering if I can keep 10 lbs lean? But would like to see how quickly/slowly I lose the gains. I'd like to see how my strength goes up/down over time during and after the cycle. Current weight is at 179.2lbs. I have had BF measured in a while but I'd say in the neighborhood of 8%.

My question here is this, who else has run a Dbol only cycle and LOVED it? Who hated it? Some supporting details would be excellent aswell. Also, has anyone ever used dbol without a pct, and how well did that work out? How much did you lose without pct, how'd you feel, libido, etc?

Like I said, I'm using this as a learning cycle to get to know how dbol works in my own body. Don't blast me for my lack of PCT. I'm not an idiot, I can assure you, and I do have clomid and arimidex on hand incase I have some unbearable side effects. Oh and some viagra for the Mrs... incase the champ doesn't want to get up. Haha =]

why not get bloodwork to see how suppressed you are and then run pct after :confused:

Well, thats an excellent idea but idk.. I want to see how I rebound on my own. I don't know why, but I just do. lol I will probably be getting bloodwork done throughout the cycle anyways to monitor myself. And to keep an eye on my liver.. it is the only one I got!:p

I have done other cycles such as Test Enth and I did no PCT and rebounded fairly well on my own whilst still keeping some good gains. Might not be the most effective way for the buck, but its more so for logging and trial.
 
You've never run dbol, but have done your research on it. You did research and still expect results running it by itself?
My advice is to do alot more research on it using this website's search option.
Dbol only isn't going to do shit for you. You wont keep any of the bloated gains you get. Dbol only cycles are what kids do that have no concept of the medication they are taking. Dbol is powerful and cheap, nubs think it will make them arnold.
Dbol cycles simply don't work.
 
I have done this cycle 2 times. The first was 20mg ED for 28 days No PCT. This was in fact my very first cycle. Yeh, I read all the posts from others saying that you will "lose your gains" "all water weight" "waste of time" "high school cycle" "dumbass", but I didnt care I just wanted to try it. It was awesome..hahah I gained about 15 pounds of really good muscle. Ok, some water weight as well,a little bloat.I do remember I was stuffing my face with anything I could get my hands on to up the calorie intake. This may have added to the bloat a bit, but overall I was very impressed with the muscle gain and strength this cycle gave me. Awesome pumps as well. After I stopped the Dbol at the 4 week mark, I noticed that my strength started to fade after about 2 weeks (gradual),also started to lose a bit of weight as well (water weight mostly). My balls hardly changed at all during cycle and my libido didn't change at all. I still got usual wood and sex life remained the same. 4 weeks after the cycle I still had good muscle and strength, better than before the cycle. 2 months after I probably had about 30% of the gains remaining. I do remember that I felt my natural test had returned to normal at about the 8 week mark. It was at this point I kinda had a rebound in strength and pumps as well so I put this down to my own test levels coming back.

As a follow up, I did the same cycle a few months later only this time I upped the Dbol to 30mgED. The only thing this did for me was to give me more sides, ie acne, a little bit of nipple tenderness. The overall effect was the same but more sides. I remember thinking my hair was falling out to but this may have been a bit of paranoia as even now after 6 months of no cycle at all it still falls out when I gell it and run my hands through it. Ive asked others if I look like Ive thinned a bit but they say I look the same.

So in my opinion after this experience I wouldn't bother with 50MG I would go with the 20mg-25mg. BTW I am the same weight as you. Good luck.

u will keep some gains without pct u would prolly keep more with it since it helps your body get to normal faster but u could also get gyno and if u dont have nolva on hand u might have to pay the price to get the gyno removed which is thousands of dollars
 
Cast Iron, thanks for the input. Maybe i'll lower the dosage a little bit from 50mg to 25-30mg. One question tho, when you did the aforemention cycle, what was your weight? Was it close to what you are weighing now (same as me) or was it drastically lower?

And vlad, i believe i did mention I do have clomid and arimidex on hand in case I need it, but i'm not using unless needed. I always have that stuff and nolva within reach just in case.
 
Pre cycle I was 180-182 peaked at 198 at the end of it. Now Im back to 180, although I have been watching what I eat lately. This has been my focus as of late : less fat, more protein and vitamins.
 
Please keep us up to date with your bloodwork and measurements as you do it. Most people haven't tried this and there is so much "parroted" misinformation around. One more anacdotal story might draw a little more of a conclusion.

For those who actually do take orals (I have only taken injectables, myself): when would you recommend bloodwork for this guy?

pre(to get a bassline), 2 weeks in (to check his liver values arent through the roof), and after it?
 
another thing i am interested in is if something is taken to control estrogen and diet is directed at keeping bloat down, if the big bubble up is as much, and if the loss afterwards is significant.

It seems like absolute bollocks to me that muscle mass just disappears. Water will, some strength/mass may if your own T goes down, but you have been pounding big weights, attempt to keep to pound the weights, and keep diet on track - then I can't see how all of your mass disappears as if that 6 weeks never happened

this is actually a good point. I have started the cycle already, so the pre isn't going to happen now unless i get it done like tomorrow lol.

I started the cycle off at 50mg a day til I get some effects of it. I'm going to wait and see how the side effects are and then vary the dosage accordingly as recommended previously. Here's what i've done so far: Monday 25mg twice: once in the morning, once an hour before gym. Tuesday same. Wed same..... I weighed in at 181.8lbs just minutes ago so I seem to have gone up 2.6lbs so far which I assume is water retention because I know muscle doesn't build that quick. No noticeable strength gains yet tho.

I have a question regarding the split now. Some people take 10 in the am, 10 at noon, and 30 before gym. Others take all right before gym. And then others split it twice. Anyone have a recommendation? Is a 25 in morning and 25 before gym good enough? It taxes the liver less at once, but causes a lesser peak of D in the system as it has an 8hr halflife... I was told to try 25/25 split on off days, and 50mg right before gym on training days. :confused::confused::confused:

Until someone can tell me one or the other ill keep to the split even doses. Oh, and liquid D has a horrible horrible taste! Hah, anyone who tries liquid D should be warned, keep a drink on the side to chase. Nothing short of some vodka will get that taste out! :eek:

If I am interpreting this correctly (correct me if im wrong), Dosing 100mgs ed for 6 weeks reduced test production 60% and LH only 20%... Which would mean that in that study, northing was actually shutdown, but instead supressed just a bit. Which I assume its a lot easier to rebound when your not fully supressed 100%.
 
I have read half life of approx 8 hours give or take a little.

Many recommend 3 times a day to maintain a more steady level.

I believe somewhere on this forum, there were some recommendations to not worry about keeping a steady level at night. as in dont take any before bed.... Andd something about focusing on the peak level rather a steady level. I'll see if i can pull em up
 
you're not running an AI with it? Do you know that DIANABOL converts into very potent estradiol compound? They hang around a while and cause havoc in your body. Your weight will definitely go up drastically if you're not on an AI!

I am thinking of adding dbol to my next cycle (probably just Test E + dbol). I am going to run arimidex throughout and certainly doing PCT. I would agree with PsyT on this
 
Nothing wrong with doing a dbol only cycle. Dbol is one of the best muscle builers out there and I have kown plenty of guys who have done this.
 
Dbol only to me sounds just like any other short cycle with good pro-hormone. No PCT. i wouldnt want to put my body through such a thing, thats stupidity if u ask me

I wont comment too much here,,,but definitely use a PCT after cycle.
