Whether my routine is true DC or a hybrid, the time has come for a cruise period. Would just like to know what most of you are doing, so I can adapt it for my needs.....
 
drop a meal, try out a few new exercises back off and just do straight sets and rest, rest rest by the end of a week i am chopping at the bit to get back to the gym. example last cruise week i took it easier on the food brought back free weight front squats and back squats and just messed around with a few different back exercises rev grip barbell rows and hammer pulldowns. i workout mon. chest shoulders tris wed back bis forearms fri legs. 70% of my usual mindset in the gym also did a little more cardio 20min after workout and 30 am on off days.

ps not personally trained by Dante just have read alot of what he writes. basics are out there for everyone if they search right. great program
 
yeah , not trained by Dante either , but i hope i can shed some extra light on this as well . just don't stay away completely from the gym . try out new exercises , which you might want to use in your next blast .besides that do your usual routine ,but stay 2 or 3 reps shy of failure . give yourself enough recovery . if you are eating like you are supposed to on a blast , then maybe just take off a meal from your usual diet . some people are fine having 7 days , other need 10 to even 14 days . you will have to see how you feel .
how was your first blast by the way ? what did your split look like and what exercises did you use and what rep ranges ? just curios .
