looking for some diet critique so here goes
7 am
oatmeal and protein shake
930 am
protein shake
12 pm
grilled chicken salad
3 pm
8 ounces chicken or protein shake
430 pm
train
6 pm
some type of lean meat and brown rice
9 pm
protein shake
1130
casein protein shake

looking at about 320g protein 100g carb 20g fat
my stats are 30 years old 6ft 190lbs about 14 percent bodyfat

Too many shakes. Not enough food. Hope your not bulking, thats more of a Paris Hilton weight loss diet IMO

I couldn't eat that diet and remain remotely near being full. "starvation diet" comes to mind.

What are your GOALS? at 6ft 190 you need to BULK brother!
 
ya i think i need more food too trying to make it with work is so tough as far as my goals go i want what everone wants to put on muscle and not fat but i think i need the muscle more so i gonna just start eating like a horse

just made some recommendations... give it a try and see how you like it. Its still low on carbs but should keep you lean while growing. No need to make huge adjustments. How was this diet working for you anyways? Strength gains, fat loss ect?
 
thanks military will give it a try as far as how it was working strength wise i feel strong as a bull as long as i get my protein in but i'm still holding on to some stubborn fat could be some bloat or water retention as well carbs are low so energy suffers a little but at the gym i'm alright
 
i like militray muscles recommendations...you should try out what he gave you....


the only thing i would add is that you make sure the fats you are adding are healthy fats, preferntially efa's(even better, mostly omega-3's)...stay away from saturated fats like cheese and bacon and sausage...use flax, fish oil, all natural peanut butter instead.

and post workout, you should try 60 grams waxy maize! i love that stuff.
 
i was thinking of waxy maize what brand you prefer i've never tried any
 
i like trueproteins... i would use 100 grams PWO w/25 grams BCAA;s..... but if you dont have the dough for bcaa's down your WMS w/creatine or whatever.... then have a whey shake 20 min later... then whole food 1 hour later


youll see better energy levels with this i promise.... how much cardio are you doing? The stubborn fat was most liekly because you were under eating yourself.
