Doc I have sinus infection-sorry sir its cancer!

Its been a while since Ive posted but my training had been going awesome and the best its ever been, until a month ago I go in for what we think is a sinus infection-and to find out after many tests its cancer.

Anyways, Im starting chemo and I was also introduced to (laetrile)Vitamin b-17,which is supposed to help fight cancer.Do any of you know if this can be used subq? I know that it cannot be done IM. I hope that if any of you have experience with this to give me your thoughts, because I cant get any help from the doctors with this.


Any help or past experience would be greatly appreciated.

First thing to do

Go get a 2nd opinion, I know it sounds crazy, but you need to be SURE its cancer, believe it or not but misdiagnoses happen. Most likely they are correct, and if so you need to follow thier advice to the letter. They will probably put you on methlytrexate, and possibly prendisone <-- spelling? Anyhow, this is a serious situation and you need to focus on your health. Cut out any and all medications unless prescribed. Does your family have a history of cancer? How old are you?

For the past month it started with what I thought was a sinus infection. I got real bad headaches in my right eye then I got a tingling in the right side of my upper lip(Thats when I went in)

Its definately cancer, I had a biopsey performed on my right sinus and right side of my neck and my pathology report came back positive for alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. There are two types. I have the type that responds to treatment they say. I live in Michigan so I will be getting treatment from the University of Michigan. It was there or Karmonos. My fiance is a nurse so her colleages,and mine all say that U of M is the best here so thats where I'll be receiving treatment. The cancer was found in my right sinus and went down visably to the right side of my neck.

Oh and Im 35 as of July and have no history of cancer in my family. My mom and dad both lead pretty healthy lives and have never smoked.Its puzzling because this cancer is rare its found in kids with only 1% ever being found in adults.

sorry to hear that, bro. just stick to the treatments and best of luck to you. i know that must be scary. my cousin was JUST diagnosed with early stages of cervical cancer and found out just a couple days ago that chemo and radiation will be necessary. like i told her, keep your head up and you'll be in my prayers as well. best of luck to you...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Just keep your heads up and good luck on the treatments.

One thing I tell my patients is that if a disease appears in the first place then it surely can go too! I don't believe in incurable diseases at all.

sorry to hear of your misfortune. the only thing i can offer is to maximize your nutrition to counter some of the harsh side effects chemo can cause. i wish you the best and keep fighting the good fight.

My nephew had brain cancer when he was 16.

He wasn't supposed to survive.

He's about 25 now.

You really need to look into eating as healthy as possible. Foods that are high in antioxidents etc. Also look into a water ionizer..a sick body is an acidic body...A water ionizer raises the ph of the water you drink, and is also high in antioxidents. Fight this disease from every angle. Nutrition should be # 1 on your list. And really look into a water ionizer and the benefits of a balanced body. PM me if you want to get a water ionizer..i can get you one for very cheap. Stay away from water ionizers that are involved in thoses mlm scams. My water ionizer has worked wonders for my ibs, crohns disease. I swear by them. They are actually considered a medical devise in the eastern world. Good luck to you, and please stay strong!
