Downside of Caffein before workouts?

For the past 7 months i have been taking caffein before workouts wether its in a supplement, a fat burner, or coffee. I feel it has helped me unbelievably with energy, strength, attitude and aggression, etc... for my workouts. I take it before every workout 5 days a week. Is there a downside to doing this that i should be worried about because i love it?
 
i hope not, cuz im addicted to those 1fast400 caffiene tabs, they are only 5 bucks for 90...
 
Drink a cup before every workout(a big cup)sometimes if I take a caffiene pill with it my hands sweat so gotta wear gloves,,,other than that it sure helps w/the workout intensity

Ask the old farts you see walking around that have been drinking it for 60+ years, they are still kicking so i dont see why it would hurt a BB.

I've been taking it for a couple of years. BB.com has it for about $6, 200 caps/200mg.

Only drama I have is if I have too much caffeine I've gotta control the shakes. Other than that I have some caffeine before I train more than 50% of the time. IronMike
 
Caffeine

The only downside I can imagine is becoming dependant on it for ones workouts, not only for the actually boost it gives a person, but mentally dependant as well, thinking one would not have a good workout without consuming it, which is exactly how I have become w/eph, so I have been trying only to use it sparingly on the days I really need it.
 
Studies have proven increased performance from caffeine in athletes.
Not to mention greater focus, intensity.
 
Myself, I really look forward to ECA on chest and leg days!
 
i think caffeine inhibits a good deal of creatine absorbtion if the levels in blood are high enough...... forget where i heard that :(
 
I can't train without having my ECA first.
 
i had to find the right amount of caffein, if i take too much my heart is racing and i "feel" like i am going to "hurt" my heart. 2 cups is what I do it help a ton
 
i just recently started drink coffee because im always tired. i started drinking a cup right before a workout and i have more energy and am focused but nothing like shakes or really hyper or anything. im actually drinking a cup right now.

Xcel- I did this when Ephedrine first came out about 10-15yrs ago. Just during certain workouts. Then I said-fuck it, it works so good why not every workout? I dont do it on non-training days, helps with keeping the receptors from downgrading too much.
 
I drag an espresso bar behind me at work for my daily workout. That's how addicted I am.
 
I have a habit of drinking RockStar or RedBull or Monster while working out. Not sure if it helps, but the extra boost is always a good thing...
