Emerics opinion of LBAs

I'm going to replace a couple meals with an LBA shake just cuz it's so hard to get all the food down, and I have awful acid reflux when I eat a ton of meat. OTC stuff helps but not always.
 
Emeric knows his stuff. I have spend some time on the phone with him and I have a lot of respect for his knowledge and how he cares about people. I dont lift nearly as hard as I used to, but I think I just may go back on LBAs again soon. Phil, is there still a discount we can get on those?

Dont worry about the carbs (glycerol) from LBA...they are actually very beneficial by hydrating the muscle as opposed to other carbs that spill over and bloat you. Also, the glycerol will make you more vascular and does not have an effect on insulin levels....so drink up and dont worry about it.

i knew this was coming after i saw emerics post last night!ha.

ok this is good to know because we keep my diet pretty low in carbs except for a couple meals after I work out. That's when I can have my sweet potatoes mmmmmmmmmm.

I had the same problem. It sucks big time. Don't mix starch meals with protein meals. The meat is not digesting properly. Eat meat as a stand alone meal, or with non-starchy carbs, and about a gram of supplemental hydrochloric acid from betaine.

Phil the only problem is those people that feel lba's are some sort of a conspiracy still will come up with something to go against emeric. sad i know, but its true. Some people just dont know.

Thanks for this! Yeah originally I had GERDS from my meds but now it's for sure from the amount of meat I'm eating. This helps thanks a bunch.

I only recently introduced meat into my diet I was a vegetarian for many years and trained like that, then added fish, then chicken, then finally beef, and the beef made such a huge difference that's why LBA's are so intriguing for me because I am VERY sensitive to the effects of beef on muscle growth and strength when I started eating beef it was like gear. It also means my digestive system is very unused to meat after so many years of not many animal products. I'm constantly taking antacids. I had a script for GERDS but it was just not doing the trick. Oh well. It's all free range meat so there's that at least.

If i replace a meal,should i take at the very least 5-6 TBSP.?
 
If you can afford it, do 1/2 a bottle a day :)

It is well worth it.

I miss those bad boys...now that I have some extra cash, I am looking into them again.
