this is the one around the navel (I already have a tribal on my traps)

I have my whole left arm in tribal, still got a little to get finished. I personally wouldn't get my navel done, but that's just me.

yeah bro , definitely have to say they look better on a 230lb bodbuilder than some skinny ass cracked out lookin dude. hahaa

btw, i dont know about tats man, im too scared i would change my mind the next day and not want it anymore. however, my bro loves tats. he has a couple and still likes them and wants more. i guess its all just personal taste.

I have worked in the tattoo/piercing industry for over 10 years so I am speaking from experience. Get away from the tribal crap...honestly.
We see more people come back after a few years with nothing but regret about tribal...I personally have a HUGE tribal piece that covers my entire right shoulder , runs into my neck, goes around onto my back, down my ribs and across my chest...BIG mistake. I am fortunate enough to live near and be friends with one of the best tattoo artist in the state and he is actually covering it up...long, many layered process.
I wish I would have taken the time and actually thought about it and gotten something original...anyone (and nowdays everyone) can get a big tribal piece.
You must live with what is on your body or go through what I am now, which sux!
Let the next piece you get say something about your beliefs, what kind of person you are, what you feel in your heart or anything you are passionate about, and I guarantee you will be MUCH happier.
I have read your posts. You are a very unique person with a flair for life and all that you want from it...a tattoo chosen only because it looks cool at the moment will never be for you, and after people see it once or twice, the magic is gone.
Sorry...this is just my rant, and speaking from experience.

Coincidently, if you want to email me and tell me about some of the things you like, what inspires you or any ideas you have, I can have you something drawn up custom and scan and send it to you...you wont be dissapointed, J is an AWSOME artist!

ps. A navel/stomach tattoo is not feminine at all...ever see a 350 pound Somoan or Fiji warrior you would call feminine?? ...but that is a different story all together

for a warrior it may be great, but for the average gent walking on the street I think its a little odd....the only people I've ever seen with naval tattoos, actually close to their naval like that one is, are women...

but do as you please, body art is all about the person, not what people think

as for the navel one, it's been 2 + years since I first saw it and want it, didn't do it last year cause I was a bit too fat and didn't want to be at that bf% to do it ... Lol at me

but what I mean is that it's not a "cool for the moment" tat, it's just that now I've the possibility to do it after a 2 years reflexion, know what I mean ?

I have a pretty big oriental piece. Its a dragon and snake starting at by elbow and go up the inside and outside arm, shoulder and cover my whole right pec...with a pretty colorful background. I also have the tribal peice going across my back and the colors on my arm attract more pussy than anything. I personally think that the naval tat is a bit gay. You'd have to be put in a position to get away with it. Rockstart, pornstar, etc. If you were a regular guy at the beach with it, some chics i'm sure would dig it, but you'd have a bunch of homo's probably hitting on you too.

i hope you have a lean waist for life... i don't see anything wrong with it because it is your body, but on a personal note i would never get anything on my stomach because if i were to get a debilitating injury and not be able to work out then i am mid 40's with a tribal sun on my beer gut.
