Hey guys,
So I am 5 weeks out from my show and I am debating doing things a little differently this year. Any help would be much appreciated!
Previously I have done the traditional thurs-saturday carbup, but I feel like this leaves me somewhat bloated and holding water on show day.
I have noticed that I feel like i ALWAYS look better a day or two AFTER carbing up and my carbs are back down to normal levels. I am much more crisp and my waist is much tighter and I dont feel like I lose any fullness.
So has anyone else experienced this? HAs anyone tried carbing up earlier in the week and then actually tapering carbs down a bit going into Saturday?
right now my carbs are between 150-300g of carbs depending on the day. (my Diet is low fat, high protein, med carb)
Sun-150g
Mon-200g
Tue-250g
Wed-400g
Thur-300g
Fri-200g
Sat- SHOW DAY, 2 mixed meals before prejudging
