I found out about this a few weeks ago, so I don't know all the details. But if you have Kaiser insurance, they have a program called "Active and Fit Direct" Long story short, You pay Kaiser $25/month, and you have access to any gym in their network at any time. Yes, access to multiple gyms for $25. There is, of course, an initial signup fee of $75, but after that it's month to month. You signup on the website, and they give you an Active and Fit ID number, mine was 8 digit. It works immediately. When you signup on the website, do a zipcode search to make sure the gym(s) you'd go to are in the network. A lot of big name gyms, and even mom and pop ones.
Works great for me because I have a gym across the street from my work, but my work is 30 mins from my house. So I can go there after work, and on my days off, go to gyms closer to my home. Plus BodyPlex is great for the 24/7 access. Also, I believe there is no family plan. It's $25/month per person.
I had an issue at 1 of the gyms I tried, and if it helps... tell them its the same as the "Silver and Fit" program. I walked into the 4 different gyms, and signed up for each one, no problem. Signed 1 paper, and gave them an emergency contact. I now have access to Bodyplex, LA Fitness, Crunch, and Anytime Fitness.
