I prefer coconut water over coconut milk. Coconut water is the juice from young unripe coconuts which becomes the "meat" as the coconut matures. Coconut water is isotonic, meaning it contains water and electrolytes in exactly the same balance and proportions as the human body. This fact makes it excellent for hydration pre- or post-workout, superior to any man-made sports drinks.
