Okay gang. Summer's coming. How's everyone doing? I'd like to hear if anyone has any plans for the summer. Is anyone going to try something new? Sure, you look good, you're getting buff, but what else? Besides the superficial, which is to say 'outward' things we're doing for ourselves, how many of you have something new they are trying? One of the great things about being coastal is that you're not all that far from just about anything. Some of you may not be. But there's plenty out there for you land lubbers as well.
I'll start off by saying that my son is now old enough to be scuba (PADI) certified. I can also get a refresh on mine at the same time. Then it's off to either the Carribean or Belize for some diving. I'd like to dive Jacques Cousteau's Blue Hole pictured below off the coast of Belize but my son is not quite ready for that. Then later we will be hitting Joshua Tree in So Cal for some bouldering and leading. Some of you will know what that is and some of you won't. But that's me. I like to go places. What about you?
It doesn't matter if you do something in a far-away land or right in your own backyard but the important thing is that you are doing something that you enjoy and even better if it's with family and friends. Or perhaps the one thing you really want to do is absolutely nothing and have some honest "me time" for reflection and relaxation. So whatever it is, I would love to hear it. I'm sure many others would too!
