Help me kick the GNC habit for 2009

Hi.

I've always used GNC's whey because I found a flavor that I can stomach, and it mixes completely just by shaking. The prices are a bit high though.

Does anyone have a favorite brand that I can order online? Something easy to mix that won't make me wanna puke??

I'd probably say synthepure by synthetek. Its a great protein blend. A ton of the members here swear by it

I would suggest Synthepure too. Even if they were not a board sponsor, I would still recomend it. It's mixes easily with everything and it's very gentle on the stomach, no bloat, gas. I have a very sensitive stomach and Synthepure is the best I've found so I'm sticking with it.

I do like *** ****. I'd usually opt for**** but **** has 5lbs of microfiltered isolate for $38 and you just cant beat that.

On(Optimum Nutrition) Whey order through Mixes in two quick shakes. 5lber for 34.99 and 4.99 shipping and handling. $64.99 at GNC.....I would think the $25 savings would be reason enough. That is a $300 savings a year for me.

I went there the other nite...I was out of protein so I went to GNC..
I bought the Mass XXX 6.1lbs...50grams protein per scoop... $42 w/tax

1 heaping scoop with 2% milk is 980 calories...
50g protein =980 calories...I'm not liking this ratio

Allthewhey has a whey isolate that works great and comes in some really delicious flavors:
cinnamon bun
cupcake batter (my favorite)
egg nog (for the holidays - my second favorite)
plus like 10 more.

The ones above are more like a treat than anything else. Mixed with dextrose or milk, I actually look forward to them.

Go with Optimum... Optimum even makes all of GNC's protein powders... You can be sure it will mix the same and probably taste better.

what should i get??

BCAAS? is anything else worth getting than protein in that store ha-ha.
