Hi Everyone! I've been watching this board for some time , everyone here is very knowledgable and direct.
I am a 25 year old beginner - looking to get lean and trimmed not necessarily bulky and big (though if it happens along the way I won't argue).
I use to weight in over 200lbs - but since the high school days i've stuck to 35-40 min cardio sessions and worked weight training in so that i could loose the fat but build a base under it.
I'm now at 170 lbs and looking to get lean but continue to loose the weight. I've been told to stop cardio and concentrate on light weights with more reps and less rest between the sets to compensate for cardio. To stop cardio now would make me feel as if the weight would come back.
Does anyone have any advice they can offer? Do i stop cardio all together? or throw a 20 min cardio session in at the end of the workout?
Thank you everyone, I look foward to your replies.
