Horrible shoulder pain

The past 8 months ive been having horrible shoulder pain in my right shoulder more so on the front delt. I only get the pain when i lift and hurts more when i bench press flat. Im assuming its tendonits in my shoulder. I dont know what i can do for treatment until i get my mri to see what it is.


Physical thearpy is waste of my time they dont do anything for me very basic stretches...


I had a Xray didnt showed nothing.

Put your hands out in front of you like your about to pray. Squeeze both handles together. Does this hurt your shoulder? If so is rotator cuff.

Lay off upper body and get on TB500 and BPC157 pep-tides.

Rest is the healer.

yes it does the shoulder is tight and stiff the moment i get a pump going?
 
Could be distal clavicular osteolysis...aka weightlifter's shoulder.

Very common should issue caused by heavy benching. Get a proper diagnosis by an orthopedic specialist.

Shoulder impingement, bicep tendon imflammation, tight lats/chest causing shoulders to round. Poor posture.
 
Weird man I'm having horrible pain to in front felt went to Dr thinks long bicep tendon but waiting to get MRI for to see exactly because weird thing is I have no prob on bench and shoulder Press and actually feels good under heavy weight. But little things kill, I can't sleep flat on my back at night on pain scale 1-10 I'm a 10 when trying to sleep. SUCKS but like I said mine is weird because I feel good working out except some things are a bitch like side laterals or front raises. Even bicep curls hurts a little bit no pain at all when switch to hammer curls.

I stopped for 9 weeks before summer nothing had a couple good workouts on chest and shoulders and it flared right up. When I bench i just go really light and stretch it out cause when i let it rest to long it hurts more when i work.

So its hit or mis for me
 
How much back and rear felt work do you do compared to pressing (2 pulls:1 press)? I had a similar issue and it took years to heal with a change in lifting and correctives added from our coaches.

I think massage and have heat on shoulder frequently, and Vitamin C can also be useful. One pill everyday.

get a good physical therapist. Bottom line.

You have imbalances...a good PT will be able to diagnose that and will give you strength building exercises to focus on that will correct it. If you think that shit is easy, then you haven't found a good one yet.

Years ago I was benching 285 for reps (OK nothing huge but I'm no pro lol) and started to have pain..... and thought PT would be a waste of my time. A good one had me crying like a little girl when I activated atrophied muscles in my shoulder girdle that I didn't even know existed lol. Today it is not a problem to go big on flat bench...although I do not because I think it is an inferior lift compared to standing overhead press or seated incline press....


TLDR get a GOOD physical therapist before you wreck yourself!

this is a STRETCH (all be it a good one). Likely it is incomplete as a rehab program for him. He is having pain, which indicates he probably needs to strengthen the posterior side of his shoulder girdle...
 
You most likely have very bad inflammation. You need to get an ultrasound. I had it years ago when i came off hgh. Pain was so bad i couldn't even sleep without massive amounts of pain killers. Took 6 months to go away.
 
I did have some of the same issues , mine was a tear in my rotator cuff . Yes these are only found from having an MRI . I couldn't do any right side upper body excerises because of the pain. I had mine repaired surgically. It was a long process but it worked .

Well the good thing is i finally got my mri just got to schedule and im gonna see whats been destroying me half this year. All i know is when i rotate my shoulder it makes a popping sound.

Something else to look into is anti-inflam like curcumin....they can help.

MRI is really good plan....the pops indicate to me imbalance....my shoulder used to pop all the time when I would rotate it around, it was because the front side of my shoulder and pec were pulling things too tight compared to the rear side...Now i focus on pulling and just press as a finishing touch (like 2:1 ratio of pulling:pressing). It works well keeping things more in line.

Big back > big chest imo anyways :headbang:
 
See a doctor. MD or DC. Have them do orthos to find out specifically what structures are involved. Go from there.
