Before you laugh it off, it has resistance bands that go to 350lbs+. The standard bow has a 300lb rating. I got the travel bow which has a 350lb rating.
I also ordered these...
Nothing to laugh at being fiscally cautious in times of economic instability. Plus, gyms will open some day (hopefully!) Those things looks great. Space saving, cost efficient AND get the wife working out too. Only downside if you ever sell at a yard sale you might have to give lessons how to use it LOL. Maybe parlay that into paid training sessions for them?
I haven’t had this much time off from the gym in literally 30 years, minus a few post op surgery recoveries. I feel it’s a well needed break for my body. A month or two (or 3) will give my body time to repair and reset. I’ll shock it into growth again when the gyms reopen, with the assistance from our trusted sponsors
In my bouncer days was arrested for assault and battery and did 7 on a 11 month sentence.
Was shocked to learn the many ways to workout with out weights using bunks and bed sheets.
So with gym being closed and no weights or dumbbells to speak of. I'm well prepared using my furniture. Seriously.
Sold all my weights like a dumb ass.
Yeah biceps, triceps and shoulders I can train perfectly fine for high reps to failure with my 25 lbs db's. It's all other bodyparts that are problematic. I did some db rows yesterday but once I got to 50 reps, I just quit. Seemed pointless really.
The problem I'm having with pushups on the floor is that it hurts my wrist, which is why I was looking into that pushup-board. Are you seeing how the yellow back handle position could possibly train back?
No that is not going to train your back regardless what it states. I would just use bands for back rows. Even with just 25lb db's you can do loads of rear delt raises and upper back work. Those combined with weighed and bodyweight pull ups would be enough for your back whilst the gym's are closed. If you don't have somewhere you can do pull ups you can buy one of those bars that can be fitted into a door frame. They are advertised all over social media. I noticed one that even doubles up as a great tri-cep dip machine. Can you not use your db's for pushups? If not go with that board or get something similar such as he Adidas swivel pushup training bars (don't take up as much space).
I have just 25 pound adjustable dumbbells, bands up to 30 pounds of resistance, 175 barbell set, and an adjustable bench. I can get a full blown workout using just these. It will get me through until gyms open back up in about 1 month.
