no scripot needed... the pharmacists says utis fasct actin as humalog and is out in aboyt 4 hours... i thiugh it was humalog, but he inofrmed me different... so 10 iu post wrokout and a nice 75 gram vitargo drink should do the trick correct... also no fats or anything for 4 hours or so? Prlly eat a nice fat free chicken breast and and sme rice (for my medium GI) and see how this goes.

Nice...75 grams seems very low to me unless you weight 125lbs... i always heard 1.5 grams per lb you weight.. but nice post just the same

That chart does not reflect my reactions to insulin I find humilin R to be at its peak witin 1/2 hr after taking it and again several hrs later.

Id go a bit short of 10g carb per iu unless looking for extreme bulk. So 75g is OK.
And the meal 1hr after is good.

The graph is correct...

Humalog is extemely fast acting. I have seen patients go hypoglycemic in a matter of 20 minutes post injection. I dont know why any healthcare person would give a shot of Humalog without haveing a stable blood sugar anyway but it is fast. Humilin R does have a delayed effect in some people. We all have different insulin sensitivitys so some may feel effects longer than others.

Just for the fun of it I have done a protien only drink with my slin and has no problems, so I have cut down the amount of sugar with my 10ius, just hit 40 carbs, 50 protien meal hour before and 60 protien, 60 carbs drink durring workout and another meal after with no problems. Just pay attention to how you are feeling.
