I auditioned for The Ultimate Body Reality TV Show

Yes you read the title correctly. About a month ago Emeric had some insite and inside information about auditions for a new reality TV show.

I noticed the audition was being held in my area but I kind of blew it off because I am just not reality show material and the audition was the same day as Marilyn's show. Marilyn thought I should really consider it so I told her I would check into but I won't make her any promises. Well it turned out that the location of the audition was just a few miles from her show's venue. In addition the audition was from 11:00am - 6:00PM. Plenty of time to audition after prejudging and before the nightshow. So I went ahead and applied, sent them some photos and prepared to audition.

After prejudging Marilyn and I went over to the auditions. I checked in, got my number and waited to be called. I noticed Bob Cicherillo so I went over to introduce myself and Marilyn. Bob was very friendly and he had some really nice things to say about Phil and Emeric. He actually told me a few stories about Phil that I will never repeat on here...lol He also wanted to make sure that I say hello to Phil and Emeric.

The way the audition was set up when they call your number you walk up and get interviewed by Chicherillo. He then sends you into a dark room where security has you wait a minute or two. You have all of your paperwork in your hand. The producer of the show appears in the doorway of the next room. A quick hello grabs your paperwork and leads you into a larger room. In that room is a judging like, rectangular table, with people sitting with their backs facing me as I walk towards them. They are facing a heavily lighted stage with a microphone and there is a film crew set up. The producer instructs me to step up on the stage and get about 2 inches from the mic. I do as instructed, squinting through the lights I see the panal for the first time. First seat, Rich Gaspari, then Marzia Prince, then Doug Burns, and a couple other guys. Before I know Gaspari is asking me a question, then Marzia Prince and then on down the line. When they were done they thanked me for my time and I exited the way I entered. The 3rd part of the audition is Chicherillo again with an exit interview if you will.

All in all a great experience. I got to meet and be interviewed by Bob Chicherillo and Rich Gaspari. I don't think that I am what they are looking for. I don't think it is like biggest loser but they want someone that they can transform into a bodybuilder in 10 weeks. More of an ordinary looking guy.

Here are a couple more from the audition.

This was a guy coming out of that room after his audition. Chicherillo is giving him his exit interview. This was pretty much the guy they are looking for. An ordinary guy with some personality that they can transform into a competitive bodybuilder.
There were a lot of actor "personality types" at the audition. Mo Hawks, strange costumes, anything to get on tv. I was the only guy that remotely resembled a bodybuilder. Most of the girls however looked as they could one day be figure competiters. Even though Marilyn was competing that day and had already gone through prejudging she was there supporting me. I know most of the girls blew a sigh of relief when they found out Marilyn wasn't auditioning. One girl we talked to flew all the way from Wisconsin to audition. Even though Marilyn didn't audition they gave her a shirt anyway. One of the guys on the crew, the red headed guy in the picture competed in the FL State and he remembered me. Before I went on he asked me Marilyn's shirt size. Pretty cool of the guy.

Now that was a pretty cool experience and you never know. They might just give you a call back.

I bet those girls were relieved Marilyn did audition. She would put them all to shame.

He seemed pretty cool. He said Hello. He asked me not including bodybuilding what was my biggest accomplishment.

From what I understand there will be a pilot and from that try to get it picked up by one of the networks.

i wont go into details why but it urks me like CRAZY everytime i see his name, just bottom of barrell human!!! ha and especially now that i see his supplement line getting so much exposure.

Yes it will be picked up. They will be back nex month in Miami for more filming.

It was really cool to attend, eventhough I was tired and mostly sat on a sofa I wanted to sleep on, but too many people all around...I did leave once to get some food, not what I had in mind, junk, but we will go out to dinner this week to make up for that

The day actually went by fairly fast, they started moving people along....one of the bigger sponsors had to also get out in time for the night show, as they were also sponsors of the Southeasternusa show...they were very cool also.

While I waited for Tony, I sat just about 3-4 feet from one interview, and one girl was hilarious, lol...Bob "Chick" is really funny without trying, she was a mess...many ladies showed up in super short, shorts, and high heels, lol.
