I lost :(

Sorry guys, just needed to vent ... I had my first legit shot at turning pro today, and I lost I took 2nd against the best amateurs in the country and even beat 2 of the pros who came out to compete, but the margin between me and the guy who won was incredible. I had 77.5 pts, the guy behind me had 77 and the winner had 94.5. I'm pretty bummed out, but atleast i can swallow my pride and say I didn't beat myself this time, someone else was just better and since he turned pro, I guess that means I'm now the best amateur around haha

Most people here dont know that tatt is only like 22-23yrs old. Give him time...im sure the guy who beat him was alot older and more seasoned.....

You learned a TON of info in the process, and you will come back stronger next time. Nobody likes losing, but it just was not your night. I agree with the others, you are taking this extremely too hard. Yates, Ronnie, Jay, and a dozen--->hundred of other GREAT physiques did not win everytime either my man....keep that in mind.

Don't feel bummed, I know that is easy for me to say. Take this as a learning experience and enjoy your time doing what you are doing. Focus on your journey and your time doing this great sport now. There will come a day when you will look back and say...I used to compete with the best and I held my own and had some victories. But enjoying your journey is where you will find the ultimate satisfaction in your bodybuilding and your life. Once you achieve Pro status, most of the pros that I know say it was a let-down experience.

You have to realize that if you are destination oriented, then you will need another and another and another... and you will never really achieve life happiness with your sport. Just some food for thought bro. Now go have some pizza!

BUMP! your performance was nothing short of an awesome achievement bro. you'll get there soon, and sometimes we need to be knocked on our asses just so we can learn from it, and get the hell up and come back for more but even more hungry and determined.
