I’d love to know the story behind this one….
Have heard that tooI heard there was a podcast out that several of guys left him and were all bashing him for excessive drug protocols and shit
At the end of the day, it’s the athletes responsibility to put in the work. Not the coach. Why should anyone be surprised? The coach didn't have him ready for the biggest show in the kid's life. A good coach would have made the necessary adjustments at 16 weeks, then at 12 weeks, then at 8 weeks. Doesn't look like he did it.
If Walker eats bon-bons in the middle of the night, then the next coach will fail as well. But we shall see.
Clearly, Walker needs to be doing something different.
Your comment doesn't make any sense. It's clear from other athletes that worked with Matt, that it's Matt's protocol's that are the issue, not Nick's work ethic. I dont know how anybody who follows this sport can think he doesn't put the work it, he lives and breathes this sport. At the end of the day, it’s the athletes responsibility to put in the work. Isn't that what he did by parting ways? I haven't seen anywhere that he used Matt as a scapegoat, although plenty of others are putting the blame there. You know what they say... usually where there's smoke, there's fire.I believe in personal responsibility.
Till they learn to accept responsibility and change people tend to make the same poor choices.
I don't know as i don't know why he left Matt. If he says it was his choices that were to blame he will go up in my opinion. If he says it is Matts fault then he will go the other way. In the end it may be a partnership. But when i pay for a service that makes me the boss and i have the ultimate say how things go. Much like Dr.'s. They give opinions, i make decisions. I don't blame the Dr. for his opinion.Isn't that what he did by parting ways? I haven't seen anywhere that he used Matt as a scapegoat, although plenty of others are putting the blame there. Absolutely agree. Anyone who posts that Nick doesn’t put in the work or is raiding the fridge at 2am is a fucking moron. That dude is a machine when it comes to his training and diet.Your comment doesn't make any sense. That's just it, he didn't put the blame on Matt or the Dr. as you put in your analogy. He hasn't blamed anybody but his own body as of this posting. Seems like a lot people are just ready to shit on Nick for whatever reason. Guess that comes with the fame in this sport, any sport really.I don't know as i don't know why he left Matt.

Exactly. It just shows that anybody that would say something like that isn't paying attention and knows fuck all about him.Absolutely agree. "I no longer work with Matt"Where does he actually say he's changing coaches

And if you go back and read my initial post you will see i did not say Nick was wrong, only that he was responsible for his choices. Seems you may have choose to read something into that that i did not write. That's just it, he didn't put the blame on Matt or the Dr. as you put in your analogy.
