I've been paying attention to what he's doing. I appreciate the experiment that he is doing for everyone to see. Seems to be working if you believe all the testing he has been doing.

Right. I've been watching his Vlad interview(sorry @slesh ). Great watch although I also think Vlad is a pandering tool.
That said .. Seems fitting with all the fungus, anti-aging cream, biohack, threads popping up on the board.

I guess the difference with this guy is that's he's trying to hit all metrics. Not just outward appearance.

I wonder if he considers this though. He mentions how his 17yo son is his best friend.
How many more memories could he create with his son, if he didn't spend so much free time tinkering with biohacks?
For example.. He's from Utah, so how many camping trips staying up late at night gazing at the stars is he missing with his son. all because he has a routine of being in bed by 830. Or maybe he has exception days to create those memories.

Hell of a balance and I agree 100%. I think there is for sure something to be said about not obsessing so much. I want to live very long as well but something always feels weird about going to such extremes to "live forever". I don't mean that I wouldn't fight to live now...but I'm 40. I want to live to 90 and it's a bonus after that. I'm not going to spend my time obsessing...but will spend an appropriate amount of time pragmatically thinking about it.

Sounds like someone with a lot of time and money. I guess he is trying to beat skynet the AI that'll kill us all lol. He will probably arrange transfusions with infants to get the maximum effect of the growth factors in young blood.

Living forever might suck if you have no one to share it with. It would also suck to put $2m/year into something and then get killed in a car wreck.

Thats not to say this isn't super interesting, but the Tower of Babel always seems to collapse...

according to an interview he did recently, thats a misconception. He said most people think that about him,but he's never felt more alive or happy. I think its very interesting to see what he's doing. I'm sure a lot of sport teams or going to be following similar protocols for their athletes at some point to get the most out of them.

I believe what hes doing will help change the lives of thousands when its all said and done.
