I bought a knee wrap that has removable gel packs. You can freeze them or heat them. I keep them frozen, and use the wrap a few times a week. It seems to help.
The combo I have found that works for me unless I have a serious issue is the following. I have tried plenty of other joint supplements including Cissus, but have always come back to the Animal Flex as it seems to work best for me. I also prefer the LBAs as the flavor is far superior to the twin lab product and the price is better too. The only thing to be aware of is he carb content if you are on a keto diet.
Animal Flex by Universal Nutrition
3-5G of Hydrolyzed Collagen (LLP by Twinlab or LBAs by True Protein)
Plenty of water

I just bought this package, **broken link removed** still waiting for it to come in. Google Skeletal Balm, seems to be pretty promising from reading peoples reviews about it.
If you have serious pain see an ortho. It may be truely injured. Pain is a signal that someting is askew. Now if it is nagging joint pain from normal use and not an injury you can use the ole RICE.

Through some limited use of an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen and an analgesic like Flex-all should fix you up.
