Keto diet not so good!

So I have been on keto for several months now and had 2 buddies jump on it around the same time I did. We all got cut and look great and feel good. One buddy went and got blood work done and it was horrible cholesterol was super high. LDL was stupid high. 2nd buddy got blood work done a same shit. I just came off it. From blood work keto is like a heart attack waiting to happen!
 
What exactly were you eating , sources of protein and fat

And important , what supplements were you taking
 
Yeah as above. Were you using tren?
 
Like with any diet common sense is required, you have to read labels and make smart choices or get fat even on a vegan diet
 
i ve got same shit happen years ago on keto and a very mild cycle. it was D Palumbo's diet plan
 
Only fats that i eat are:

Butter
MCT oil
Almonds
Walnuts
Fat from Cesar dressing
Cheese
 
Science is above individual cases.

I am natural and I consume 12 eggs daily, for years. I have never had cholesterol or triglycerides.

If you are using anabolics, it may be a different situation.
 
Yes gear will effect lipids as we know.. So it is difficult to say that keto did this.. Now if you had a previous blood work on cycle with a " regular" diet then we might have a comparison.. But I have a friend that is strictly keto.. Lives the lifestyle to say the least.. His recent blood work was great.. Hdl was 99.. Yes 99.. lol was very low and triglycerides were perfect.. But he is not a gear user.. Gear throws a wrench into blood work..
 
I only see one healthy fat source there (nuts). The rest are questionable.

And even the nuts aren't great , adding in some quality whole eggs , wild salmon or grass fed beef , Olive Oil would surely help.

My labs are always better on a very low carbs diet the only time they got questionable was when I was using tren and arimadex daily.

Both buddies are natural. Keto is not as good as it’s made out to be.
