Killing Late Night Hunger

I need help eating good food late at night. I get these cravings at night and tend to eat anything in site. What do you guys do to counter it. I love peanut butter sandwhiches but not sure if its the best thing to eat that late. I sleep better when I feel full. Any suggestions? :confused:
 
I have a good metabolism but getting slower. I gain and lose weight quickly. My wife hates me for it.
 
I like to put down a container of cottage cheese before I sleep. Doesn't make me "full" per se, but, it takes the edge off.
 
If you are dieting, grilled chicken salad. After that, sugar free Popsicles and sugar free jello are your friend
 
something that doesn't fuck with ur blood sugar levels is best, a good whole protein source like beef or chicken with some healthy fats and fiber coming from a fiber supplement or veggies should do it
 
sugar free jello is great but does anyone else notice they shit a lot more after they eat it?
 
If your not dieting.. My favorite late night snack is cold cuts.. I'll take a piece of turkey, ham, roast beef, and cheese.. Roll them together and eat.. I'll have several of these until im full and drink alot of water.. The sodium from the cold cuts will make you thirsty..
 
i stay verry lean year around and i used to have the same problem. heres what i did. 1 large pizza, 2 milkshakes, and 3 snickers bars....just kidding but how hungry did that make you? i like the cold cut idea myself i always keep roasted red pepers in garlic infused olive oil and roll a pice of the pepper up in the meat and cheese. oohhhh pepper shoters are great too. the hot italian peppers stuffed with proscuitto and provolone! thats it im going to the deli, talk to you all in a bit.
 
i like the peanut butter as well. used to do cottage cheese cant any more. now i do lba's with a small salad and plenty o water. makes me get up any were from 1-4 but better than taking in some thing i dont need or want.
 
When dieting just stick to your diet and suck it up...yes, it sucks but if your dieting, you have to just do it...

As for the offseason that is a different story, I like the cold cuts, or cashews with cottage cheese is good...Anything high protein with low to moderate carbs is ok...lower the carbs, higher the fat you can get away with...

Sugar free jello is definitely a good option. And when you get sick of it you can make it with Sprite instead of water. Also, add "knox blocks" to make it thicker so it will fill you up more.

For some reason diet rootbeer makes me feel bloated...maybe that's another option for you.

I have never had cottage cheese just looks nasty. I might need to try it.
i picked up some turkey meat tonight so will eat some tonight. I am neither dieting or bulking just trying to eat and make good gains.
 
I eat a can of tuna, some cottage cheese, and some peanuts.
 
Tuna and fresh avacado mashed together with some added bbq seasoning. Pile it on top of some fresh spinach leaves and youre good to go.
