Ive noticed the first 8 weeks of a test only cycle my sex drive is raging. The first 4 weeks with the dbol kick I had to jack off 2-3 times a day sometimes. After being on for awhile sex drive really decreases. I throw in some aromasin a couple times a week. Doesn't do much. Anyone have this when running test only. What could be the cause of this.

I'm assuming that right now your SHBG Is very high... there could be other reasons however if this is the case... some OTC supplements like stinging nettles will do the trick so will Eurycoma Longifolia... As regards to NON-OTC : proviron or masteron.

on steroid cycles SHBG only goes down... this is a common misconception.

in point of fact lowered SHBG may be part of the problem. since you need shbg to sustain free androgen pool.


try pramipexole for libido.

tadalafil certainly would not hurt. sometimes just knowing you are ready to go can compensate, even when there is lack of actual desire. pavlovian nookyneeds.



dbol produces very high level dopamine, so its withdrawal can lower drive. though that high level dopamine also can negatively affect dopaminergic neurons. Increasing prolactin, which can significantly affect libido and performance.

prami is probably warranted, not just a good idea.

From all the studies I've read, long test cycles bludgeon SHBG into the ground, I wouldn't think that SHBG is the problem.

The issue of AR downregulation is controversial still, so it is more likely that this is the case rather than high levels of SHBG.

There really isn't much you can do about it besides using some proviron or something along those lines to kick up your sex drive.

have to disagree. high androgen abuse the dopaminergic system. in those with mao-b elevation, particularly those that take ephedrine and/or other norepi based/inducing stims, there is receptor/response shift/damage in those neurons in the substantia nigra.


pramipexole, cabergoline and to a lesser extent selegiline can all overcome this and reverse the impact. plus prami and caber as direct d2-like agonist will increase libido and sex drive.

yes and no. t3 has rather mixed effects on SHBG. it certainly can, but conditions dependant it can also lower it. Insulin, thyroid and liver function and plasma estrogens are highly relevant to response.

I used proviron on a test 500/wk only cycle and at 50 mgs. it would make my dick so hard it hurt (for real). I had to drop it to 25 mgs and I would still be hard as a rock but I could tolerate it. Everyone reacts differently. Proviron is purely androgenic and it will help with your sex drive as well as giving you a more defined and rock hard look. Throw in some viagara or cialis and you might kill your partner. LOL

proviron can certainly be effective, however its use increases free DHT. So in the long term it may actually exacerbate prolactin issues (though short may act as stop gap--- depending on extent dopaminergic neuronal downregulation)

note- above generally only applies to androgen induced excess dopamine issues. So not reccomending against proviron as a solution, merely pointing out potential pitfalls for some users. (those with excessive mao-b in particular)

that loss of libido, as least where due to dopamine receptor changes and subsequent prolactin increases, is reflective of other spectrum wide neurological changes and shifts that tend to decrease ones ability to derive pleasure or satisfaction from anything.
