When you hear of legends, his name will go down in history under that title, and that could be an understatement. Super sad news, I was never a power lifter or competed, but I tried his principles a lot back in the day.

Just found this article he wrote a few years ago. Good read! He was an amazing guy. I wish I could have met him. Louie mentions Larry Pacifico in the article. I used to lift at Larry Pacifico's gym in Dayton. He was a big time powerlifter and made the news when he got caught selling steroids. That was a mess.

Wow, really? I always assumed Westside would be his legacy, I'm surprised he'd want it to end. Just no primary trainer he trusts enough to continue the tradition? That would be a shame, I'd love WSBB to still be a bit name when I'm a proper old man.

Was only there for one fleeting moment for weigh in prior to a meet. The current morning crew was there. We didn't exist to them. The doors were open but the air was different.
