your 165 lbs? and eating 5500 cals?
I really dont think that you need to up the calories. Thats a TON of food for a 165 lb guy. Maybe its in your training, sleep, etc.
im 6'3 and 250-260ish and from my experience a few years ago i got up to eating 7000+ calories and i still wasnt putting on any more weight than when i was eating 4500-5000 cals.
I think its best to lay your complete diet out and lets see if that is in check first.
on a side note..... I really believe that your body can adapt to a diet, so i feel that when you get to the point where you cant eat any more in a given day, that the macros should be switched around.
