MTV's "I'm on Steroids" Jan 12 True life

Just saw it on the scheduel. Let's hope it's a good, positive show. This weeks 'True Life I'm a gun owner" seemed very negitive. But who cares, the NRA has greased enought palms that no one will touch it. WE NEED AN NRA....

Why does it seem like they always find the biggest douche bags to do these shows? The shitty part is that these guys think they're making us look good or "cool" by the things they say or do. They make their self sound just plain stupid. The guys portrayed on tv remind of the 18 y/o's on bb.com or a similar board.

Now I have met my fair share of guys who use and act like that, but a good percentage are not that way. In fact I would venture to say most don't act that way.

If the terrorists want to do something useful, I'm pretty sure MTV should be their next target. Man, I HATE that fuckin' channel. why don't they do true life I am an alcoholic??? more kids drink then do AAS...True life I am a POTHEAD....I have seen more peopel drop out of college due to WEED...

I completely agree! Did you guys see the one with the guy that got calf implants. That guy looked like a complete idiot.

There is no way in HELL that there going to allow this to look alright. Although they did have the chick from channel one fo the thing about being on heroin. But with all the media and everything that is going on the create somekind of hysteria.

i couldnt agree more...i have zero respect for people who use rec drugs and who drink to get drunk. i personally think drinking is stupid, even socially, but people who get drunk disgust me...no offense to anyone on the board as i know there are a fair amount who do enjoy drinking...just stating my opinion...

MTv is nothing but

"indoctrination" of off the cuff lifestyles. You have to really read between the lines. These people promoting the gay/gang etc lifestyles realize that they cant convert all of us, we are grown up and have a mind of our own (well some of us

) so the indoctrination is with the youth, they desensitize the kids with the gay lifestyle and the like, so it becomes more acceptable down the road. I call it slow rot, because thats what it is. MTv could give a rat ass about what it does to young people, and young women in particular. How many of you that have a daughter would allow your baby girl to date one of these animals you see on Mtv? I'd kicked the shit outta my son if he came home wearing his pants to his knees like a crack dealer, and had a ball cap turned to the side like some punk ass fucker. Thats the problem today, kids need to get there asses beat more, like we did. All this "time out" shit has done nothing but create little fuckers that dont respect anyone. there was no "time out", it was "knocked out" if I direspected my parents. anyway sorry about the rant. I agree about them not being bright but I also think it's more than that. They get attention like crazy from these tv people for a few weeks and it makes them feel important and even wanted. I'd bet almost everyone that they find to do these shows are fucked up in the head. I don't mean with reality, emotionally. Looking for acceptance and turn to drugs as a way to hide away when they can't find what they're looking for.
