my first cycle, a disappointment

Let me start with my stats,

age: 28
height: 6'1"
weight: 200
bf%: 11%
routine: e.o.d. back/bi's chest/tri's legs and abs with every workout

I lifted for two years before I considered gear. I tried different diets, workout routines, etc. and it seemed like I had plateued. After talking to a couple friends with a little more experience than I have, and doing months of research, I decided that I wanted to do a deca/Dbol stack. The site that these guys have been ordering from has a checkered rep (***XXLGEAR), so I was sceptical, but they swore on it's integrity. So, I ordered everything up. I started doing 30mg Dbol everyday. The pills were 10mg each, so pretty much one every eight hours. The deca I injected 300mg every week. After five weeks, I had gained no weight or strength. This stuff has gotta be crap. I know that Dbol has a very quick and noticable result, but I got nothing. I stopped the Dbol and am still on the deca. Almost into week six and still no gains. This will be the last time I order anabolics. I recently met up with an old friend that has been lifting for a while and is now competing locally. He has a good local hook up, so I'll go that route.

I'm considering straight up 300mg/week test E for 10 weeks this time around. I'd like to be 215-220, before I cut. I have HCG, nolva, and clomid, so that part is already covered. As for my diet, I eat 8-9 times a day, over 200g protien. No big carbs after lunch time, lots of meats, lots of green veggies.

What do you veterans think?

btw: Yes, I was taking milk thistle with the Dbol the whole time

Maybe your diet? 200g of protien is not enough, 300-400 is more like it. Deca and dbol? You should of have did test only 250-500mg for 12 weeks. Always go with someone you know, that you can trust. I would not use that routine for growth.
 
1)you wont see anything from deca for 4-6 weeks (if diet and trainnign is on point) it takes weeks for it to start working.
2)dbol's quick gains are just water and you will piss it out when you stop taking it so its crap/ dumb to think thow 10lbs in 2-3weeks is worth a shit.
3) dbol and deca is not a very good cycle.
4)deca should be run NO LESS then 12 weeks at 300-450mg ew WITH TEST.
5) test shoudl be your firsy cucle for MANY reez.
6)working out EOD the SAME body parts is nto a good way to grow.
eg. this is good split: (monday-delts/shoulders/triceps, wed-chest/bicep, thurs-back/abs, sat/legs) each workout should be 40min-1hrs no less not more then 1.5hrs.
7)waight amounts should be added so you cant go more then 6-10 reps at a time.
8)diet is prob a issue, 3500-5000cals ED depending on your hight and lbs. being a high protein diet of course.(200-300g ed protein)

now i also dont think you know enuff about steroids/ steroids your using, atleast dosnt seem so when complaining about deca not putting on lbs in 4 weeks.
learn and keep reading.
I DONT THINK IT WAS THE GEAR . i think its your trainning, diet and expectations of AAS your using that are off.

when/if all is on point here are a few eg cycles of what your first three should be "in my oppinion"

cycle#1
testE or cyp 400mg ew wk1-14
pct wk16-20 (nolvadex first 2 weeks 30mg ed, last 2 weeks 20mg ed)

cycle#2
testE or cyp 400-500mg ew wk1-14
deca 250-300mg ew wk1-12
pct wk16-20 (nolvadex first 2 weeks 30mg ed, last 2 weeks 20mg ed)

cycle#3
Dbol or Tbol (i like tbol over dbol) 30mg ed wk1-5
testE or cyp 400-500mg ew wk1-14
deca 250-300mg ew wk1-12
pct wk16-20 (nolvadex first 2 weeks 30mg ed, last 2 weeks 20mg ed)

and keep an AI on hand like letro.

take the D-Bolz more often, they have a 4.5 hour life cycle. So split the pills in 2 and take every 4 hours for best results.
 
Its your diet!!!!!!! if at 6'1" your not already 230 lbs, your not ready for gear. 200 grams of protien as done by the first time you eat lunch. not to mention the other 2 lunches and 3 dinners. 450grams protien minimum. you never plateued you never knew how to eat. BIG GAINS = HIRE PHIL HERNON
 
ohh i forgot to mention DONT WORK THE SAME PARTS OVER AND OVER EOD. you need to let them be for more then just 1 day to heal/grow. you grow out of the gym not in it. dont work out same body part more then 1-2times a weeks.

and on days off its just that OFF no running or power lifting or any of that !just eat big and pack in the protein and get good sleep.

and fixe diet.
make sure you get 4000cals a day. if you find it hard make 2 shakes a day a smoothy in blender with. 4-5tbs of penutbutter, 1banana 2-3 scoops of protein,haldfull frozen berrys fill up with milk and blend!! thats 900-1300cals right there. so dont give excuse of i have no time bring em to work in a empty water bottle. ... I DO

I agree. Theres no way you coulda plateued if you were doing everything you could with your diet. 6'1 and 200 is pretty small in BB standards (i know, im 6ft and 220 and im small :/) I would take the advise these guys are given you about your diet. If your cutting carbs at lunch, and only eating 200g of protein, but having 9 meals a day....see what im gettin at?

Anyways, this thread seems to be a tad brutal on you. These guys are just trying to help though. IMHO, lay of the gear, and RAMP UP the ol cals :D Good luck dude!
 
also if bulking dont cut carbs at lunch stop a few hrs before bed make the last meal or 2 (or shake or 2) lowcarm-carbfree. but other then that take in your mashed potattos at dinner lol :pmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm PO TA tOOOOOOOO :p

I guess I should have been more precise about my routine. I lift eod, but I do chest/tris one day, then back/bi's the day after next. Hey, I don't know, that's why I asked. Thank you sirs for your advice!

I would agree with what the others have said. That first cycle could have been more efficient. But most important....eat! And eat smart. I personally started writing down all of what I eat. Something I had not done before. Now I can see that I've probably short-changed myself by not eating enough protein over the last two years. I think what Pesty said was about right.....300-400 grams a day. It can be a real pain to eat all day. But I guess it's the nature of this endeavor.

I havee learned never to just take the first person you know advice on cycles.. you didn't research anything apparently..you should have found this forum sooner, before you wasted your money..
I got the best advice on this forum, and my diet isn't for shit, but I made some incredible gains(after my 5th week) .. I didn't listen when I was told to use just test.. I took dbol and didn't like it, held so much water at first I couldn't cross my arms... but over the last 4 weeks, I have went from 305 for reps on my bench to 365 for reps. and that is your basic beginner cycle...
and if you researched it enough, most people don't feel dbol at 30mg a day... I have to say I didn't really feel it..
 
I did research it, for almost a year. Everyone has different opinions on what to take, and what amounts. You live and learn, as I do every day. Like I said, thanks for the advice, it's much appreciated.

Even with gear, 75%+ of gains is diet, 10%+ is training. All gear does is enhance your normal ability to make gains either through faster protein synthesis, speed up recovery, strength boost, etc.
 
the dbol was def bunk then, you should have at least had added water weight with even the shitiest diet.
