I think the difference is that he was deceiving people with false advertising. It seems crazy that he gets 25 years when you compare the crime to something more violent like rape, child molestation or child abuse seem to get short sentencing.

I agree, 25 years is a little excessive. He isn't the only company that sells fraudalent products making outrageous claims. What about them?

25 years??? The amount of time the legal system is handing out in the US is completely out of control. The justice system has no concept of time, they don't realize that any time inside prison over 5 years is almost impossible to come back from with the way the world changes. (a good friend of mine just got out of prison after serving 16 years. I had to show him how to use an ATM and the Internet) This is not a violent crime, this is a simple snake oil case, buyer beware.

Just another example of the fine American judicial system. Stick this guy in a federal prison for 25 years for something as ridiculous as this. This is another reason our jails and prison are so over crowded now. IMO justice would have been better served by a fine, home confinement, and possibly community service. But again, just my opinion.

he wont spend one day in jail. There is nothing wrong with what he did. They have to prove he defrauded which they never will be able to. Its just like when you see the copyright on a movie that says 5yrs in prison for making copies of movies. They love to dramatize penalties to scare people. YEAH, just saw that on the news.. the main charge was fraud.. being as how the product can not and does not work the charge makes sense.. then of course, from the charge of fraud, is money laundering.. ect ect.. i am surprised it took the legal system this long to convict these guys.. but, 25 years?.. i know it is fraus ect ect but, the people who actually fell for this scam should at least get a year a piece ..
