O/T...blocking hidden phone numbers?

my girlfriend has been getting called by some guys who are blocking thier phone number. is there any way to find/block the number that is calling her? sorry for the O/T thread.

I'm not sure who you're telephone provider is but most major ones have 'anonymous call rejection' which means blocked numbers can not call, they must first unblock their number by dialing for example *82, then the rest of the number they are trying to reach. Your girl friend needs to call the telephone service provider and see if they have this service. If not maybe she can change providers, or just simply don't answer blocked numbers.

germ, well to make a long story short, it's a guy who she knew from parties last the year before last. they hung out a few times (like 3 or 4) and she broke it off, a few months later we started dating. it' been just over 1 year now and he's called her a few ties in that time, telling her he's coming up to our city and wanting to hang out. i'm not ok with that so she hasn't gone...she hasn't even talked with him the times he's called, just told him she has a boyfriend and says goodbye. well last time he called i called him back and told him to top calling her and delete her from his phone book. well they started calling again but blocked thier numbers and last night left a message saying some shit. if he wasn't in So. Cal. things would have been different meaning i would have confronted him on it to his face.
